Johnny Yong Bosch Not Appearing in Super Megaforce
 

After some heavy speculation, former Black Ranger Johnny Young Bosch (better known as Adam in the latter section of Mighty Morphin, Zeo, Turbo and from cameo appearances through In Space and Operation Overdrive) will not appear in the upcoming new season.

The actor confirmed details via his Facebook page:

What a travesty man. Bring him back for the 15th anniversary, to lead the retro team no less, then completely blow him off for the 20th.

I like Bosch as a person but I don't care much for Adam. Especially since Tommy is all I need from MMPR personally.

Gravestone cameo, gravestone cameo, gravestone cameo...

What? The guy has wanted Adam dead since Power Rangers In Space at least.

Oh well.

I feel like this about Super Megaforce in general.

I care about like...three of the cameos and the rest of the news has been 'So Super Megaforce ISN'T doing this'. And as great as JDF's videos are, how am I able to get excited for this any more?

Really sucks, but I expected as much, so its not a real surprise.

I am saddened. I like Ichigo...

This entire supposed anniversary season has been nothing but disappointments. And this is just more of the same.

Hey, have Jeffrey Parazzo do Adam VA work in a massive suit battle that ends with dead grunts, the Mastodon Helmet broken and the MMPR Black suit shredded and burning.
Yeah, that's kind of stupid.

I think I can say safetly say most people prefer JYB the anime/video game voice actor over Adam. A bit disappointing, but that's par for the course with Super Megaforce it seems.

Shame, I like Bosch a lot. He's totally right though. Super Megaforce is beginning to sound more and more like a shoddily-assembled mess which is held together more by money than by any sort of passion with every bit of news we get. It's a real shame that this is supposed to be an anniversary season.

Shame that he wasn't even invited. As the only Power Rangers actor I've actually met I have a soft spot for Adam.

Very sad..He was kind a 'The elder' from MMPR.

It was very impressive when he appeared on Power Rangers In Space, and Operation Overdrive as senior member.
