Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Pink Division Quarter-finals Round 3
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Will Delphine fair as well against a Ranger whose season isn't universally hated? Will Karone chew up her opponent like she chewed the scenery in early In Space episodes? Which Ranger will reign supreme?

Shame, Delphine is the one alien ranger I'd have liked to see get a little further.

We really need to speed these up for when it becomes one sided like this. Sucks waiting a full day for a contest we all knew was over within the first few hours.

Few hours is being generous, with each new tournament the landslides have gotten bigger and they've gotten there quicker. I'm hoping because of the size of Grack it'll turn out to be a lot more interesting than pink has.

I think it has less to do with the tournament as a whole and more to do with the color. Pink has always been a neglected color, both in terms of power and character.

Green/Black and 6th should be a lot more interesting.

Blue wasn't all that interesting either to be fair, even though that has great characters. What ended up making the blue tournament fun in the end was TJ the wildcard.

Grack will def be the best seeing as how it'll probably have the biggest showdown this tourney has seen yet.I think the finals in Grack will be Tommy vs Ziggy.

I doubt Dino Thunder Tommy is going to get that far, Green Ranger Tommy would be in the sixth division.

Yeah,why would Dino Thunder Tommy,a ranger who has years of experience,plenty of power,and has been a ranger 4 times before DT (Twice as a leader) ever win the Grack category.Oh,and he can turn invisible.Just sayin.

Sorry, kinda busy day. Yeah, Karone wins this one. Hands down.

And yes, I expect the Grack/Bleen pool to be one of the more interesting as it's full of really good and popular characters.

For the same reason that a Super Speed Red with a Super Form, an Alternate Form, and Super Armor lost.

Because we all know Tommy will win sixth so he can't be on there twice.

Because the most memorable thing DT Tommy did was be in a coma.
