Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Pink Division Finals
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Okay, it's been a long road but we're finally at the end: time to decide who the ultimate Pink Ranger is. On one side we have a Ranger who's stormed all of the competition without breaking a sweat. On the other is one who's pulled off some close but consistent victories. Two great Rangers, but only one can move on.

But, we already have Carter from LR and to be fair we need the team to be from all different teams, so I will go with Jen. Im sorry Dana....

Jen. Like I said before she's the only Pink that makes sense. She was the only Pink that wasn't completely useless, she led the entire damn team by herself. She has training, moxy, everything you need.

Neither of these girls fit my image of an Ahim. I knew I should've voted a lot earlier, I think Kendrix would've been a better Ahim (although, that's just cause I like her :lol).

I'm voting Jen in terms of battle prowess. And I think she'd be a better marksman whose skills could be emulated in GokaiPink's fighting style.

Jen. All the way. If anyone asks me which Pink Ranger I enjoy seeing, you don't have to ask me twice. Always Jen Scotts. Always has been. Always will.

I don't think Kat was useless nor a few others. After everyone else voted in I don't feel that Jen would be good for this team.

Maybe some of the other pinks weren't useless but the fact that the only pink I remember anything about other than Jen is Syd, because I just watched her series, says everything to me.

I can think of three or more memorable characters from every other colour but Pink...Pink is just a dead zone.

Still voted for Dana. I lived through the PR fandom's love affair with Little Miss Fanfic as it happened, and I still can't stand her.

I honestly think Jen is a bad fit for the team we're making as it already exists. We already have two team leaders, do we really need a third?

Two? I think TJ slipped into and fit a support position well. I guess she might clash with Carter though, but I don't really wana see two Lightspeed Rangers on the team.

Just a little thing like helping save the whole universe, not just earth, without support of a mentor. She had moments where she stood out while on one of the only ranger teams that was doing it all on their own. Not saying she was the best but she was a stand out.

I feel bad in that case that I completely forget she did that.

Can we move on to the Green/Bleen/Grack/Black Round? I don't think Dana's going to pull ahead by 20 before midnight.
Though I could be wrong, and Switchblade DOES have the final say in this.
