Which SH Figuarts Zyurangers are you planning to purchase?
 

There's an assumption that we're going to get Mammoth Ranger, Tricera Ranger, and Tiger Ranger.

All of them bar Tyranno with armour. Not in any rush to buy that.

This was a hard decision. Honestly, it was. I knew I wanted one of the Tommy Figuarts, if I could only afford one MMPR Figuarts, and it had to be White Ranger. Green was Epic but White is somehow more iconic. Plus, Saba. Saba trumps everything :lol

I've decided all of them. I was thinking about wether I'd pass on Tyranno w/Dragon Shield, but I decided I'll get them all just so I can have the peace of mind of having every single one (OCD life).

And then I plan on getting the JP releases(Since I've ordered the JP Tyranno/Dragon for the Akiba bits) so the boxes are uniform. Even more OCD.

Honestly, I would like them all if I could get them. But with all the new Figuarts reveals lately, I need to think about it.

Haha, me too! I like the MMPR boxes design better, but they're Zyurangers, so they need the Zyuranger box, no matter the cost!

How can KRX go through and select all of them, and also none of them. This isn't Schrodinger's Cat of Figuarts.

Dunno man, I'm really torn. MMPR was a huge part of my childhood and the reason I am here today and seeing them in glorious Figuarts form has my inner child squeeing. That said nostalgia is the only appreciation I have for MMPR as now I'm an adult I find the show to be utterly terrible.

If I was gonna buy any, I'd buy Green or White because who doesn't love Tommy eh? Plus the Dragon Shield Red is pretty cool as well. If they did eventually release the entire team as a pack and it wasn't like three hundred quid, I'd contemplate it for having the full team.

I can't really say all because I have no desire to buy armored Red. But I intend to buy all 6 members and whatever bad guys they make.

Dragon Ranger and Tiger Ranger for sure, my two favorites from MMPR.

All, I decided when I preordered Dragon, I would get all of them, excpet Armored Red, Hes an eh.

Blue and Black. Billy and Adam were my favs. Also anyone else I like from Zyuranger when I continue with it.

Actually yeah I'm so stupid, how could I forget about Billy? I reckon Blue would be my only deffo purchase from this set. Man I wish I could redo my votes now.

I'm curious to know the ratio on this board that will stare at the figures and see Geki , boi etc... Vs Jason and Trini etc...

They are MMPR to me.

I grew up with MMPR, but they will be ZyuRangers to me becuase that is the original. Just like how it is Sincline, Fallah, and Kurogone instead of Lotor, Allura, and Keith to me. And Hikaru instead of Rick.

If there's one thing I've learned is that you get one, you get them all. That's what I'm going for on the MMPR S.H. Figuarts.

All of them except armed Tyranno. I'll gladly complete the MMPR team, but I'm not putting down figuart prices on a minor super mode used a handfull of times.

And yes they are the MMPR to me. Power Rangers is so entrenced in my psyche that no amount of Zyuranger can make me see those suits and not go right to "Power Rangers" in my mind.

Same here. No matter how much Sentai I have watched recently I cannot look at a Sentai suit and not think Power Ranger. Nothing at all against Sentai its just my brain sees Power Rangers even when looking at my Black Condor figurart

I love threads like this. I opened it up and the first thing I looked for was "All of them". I figured it would be the loosing choice, but I was delighted to see there are a lot of people here who feel the same as me. I'm getting all of them, every one. MMPR nostalgia aside, I think the Zyuranger suits are some of the best designs in the series. They are very balanced and tasteful, and still look great twenty years later. I also love making displays and dios, and when they're not completely it's just not the same.

MMPR has its huge base of nostalgia-goggle-wearing fans, but having watched both start to finish, I think Zyuranger is by far the better product.

Did you really need to bash MMPR fans just to get your opinion across?
I've watched both series, and I think MMPR is better. And nostalgia has little to do with it.

Not bashing all fans at all, my partner is a huge MMPR fan. Just the ones that are the PR-version of geewunners that frequent things like the facebook pages.

Yeah, that much I can agree with.

I've watched both and I prefer Zyuranger personally. Mostly thanks to how great Geki, Burai, and Bandora were. I won't bash people for liking MMPR nor will I bash them for displaying their figures as such. But I plan to own these, all 7 of them, to represent the Zyurangers. I don't have nearly as much attachment to MMPR as I did when I was a kid so Zyuranger means more to me at this point in my life.

Yeah, I really could've worded that better, sorry. MMPR is a very important part of PR and Sentai history and deserves a lot of respect for how much it captivated so many people. I just have a tendency to have a bad taste in my mouth when every post or photo about any other Power Rangers season on the facebook pages is flamed for not being MMPR, which makes me a bitter old man towards MMPR sometimes.

If I ever get TigerRanger, it won't be to complete the team or represent Boi, but it'll be in memory of Thuy Trang.
