The Poll to Decide the Next Let's Watch Wednesdays
 

Over the last week Tokunation has been accepting nominations for it's next Let's Watch Wednesdays segment. Well, we've narrowed it down to a final 10 shows to choose from! Super Sentai, Power Rangers, Kamen Riders, and a few others thrown in the mix for good measure! Make your selections now and we'll begin our brand new segment this Wednesday!

I'm actually voting for Nexus, as I need a reason to watch Ultraman somehow.

These are good choices. I would not mind re-watching OOO or finishing Black. I have not watched In Space since it aired. Sheesh!....

I absolutely do not want any Super Sentai or Power Rangers season to be the next spotlight. We need to change things up.

That said, we also should simply not do Kamen Rider OOO. I feel that far too many of us have seen it already (wasn't it still airing when the site opened?) and it's too recent. That wouldn't help participation either.

I myself suggested Blade, because I watched only the very beginning and would love it if there were others watching alongside it with me to talk about it heh... It seemed interesting enough to me.

I also wouldn't be opposed to Black at all, and would maybe even give Nexus a try.

But please, guys... Think about it a little. We can't make these all just Sentai and Ranger shows.

I have been meaning to check out Kamen Rider OOO... So I will go with that.

Im going with blade, Because i need to rewatch that entire show again because i loved it so much

My vote is for Ultraman Nexus. I want to try something that isn't Kamen Rider or Super Sentai this time again.

I'm really feeling we should branch out to other franchises.I'm currently watching RPM and I wanna start Dairanger to watch at my own pace,so I'm really not feeling like watching another Sentai/Ranger series.As much as I would like to see Black,I just want something that isn't Rider or Sentai.

Voted for Blade, though I'd love it if Nexus, Black or Amazon won.

Sadly though, OOO will probably win because people suck. :(

We should deffinitely do a rider series, so I'm picking Black. OOO is a show most have seen and anyone who hasn't is likely to check it out themselves. Black, however, would make a good series. It's supposed to be aweosme, I personally haven't finished it, and it's something that would likely generate more discussion for those unaware of the story like me.

Though I wouldn't be mad if OOO won.

Kamen Rider OOO. It's a great series, and if I can't watch Goseiger I might as well back Reggie :lol

I understand people not wanting to watch a show they've already seen. But these choices were all decided upon by the community. Should something like OOO win it's because people wanted it. I'd also like to branch out a bit more, and thanks to our users who suggested more offbeat shows like Rescue Fire, Gransazer, and Nexus we may very well get that. We have several days to get all the votes tallied so nobody is assured victory yet.

Jokes aside though, what you gonna do if OOO wins? So far OOO is winning despite everyone in the thread saying they don't want OOO. So if the only people voting for it are those who don't actually take part in the discussions are you still gonna run with a series that no one will be, theoretically, talking about?

The problem is that the people who want OOO just vote for OOO. The people who don't want OOO have nine other things to scatter our votes amongst.

And personally, I would watch OOO if it wins. It's been a couple years since I last saw it and I did enjoy the show. But I'd really much rather rewatch Black.

Blade and Go-Onger are the only shows on this list I'd skip. Blade because I just rewatched it last year and probably aren't up to it again so soon. Go-Onger because I'd rather stab myself in the eyes with my Figuarts Gills.

I voted for Black because his show has interesting ideas to it, like how not every monster is evil, the theme of family and the fact that he appears on a Powerman CD cover.

How...how would that work? His spikes aren't sharp enough. XD

I'd prefer a Kamen Rider to win this time and though I've seen both before I prefer OOOs to Black.

Even though I'm down for black, my vote went for Amazon. We need some more Showa era love.

Honestly though, I wouldn't mind which show wins.
I had a boring experience with the original Ultraman and a rather bad experience with whatever Ultraman was dubbed and aired on FoxBox, but I want to give it another chance (A franchise doesn't survive this long if it's not good, right?)
I loved OOO and wouldn't be against rewatching it (Though I do agree with the "It's still too soon" argument, it doesn't mean I have a problem if it wins)
PR In Space would be fun to watch (Having just finished Turbo last month)
I never got to properly finish Amazon due to unfortunate computer errors followed by a dead download for it at the time (Thank you, KRDL)
I've been sitting on Go-Onger for over a year now
Blade was a great series and, while I did watch it last year (Or early this year), it's still cool and would be a nice watch
And shows like Gransazer or Rescue Fire would be a new experience for myself.

Dekaranger still resonates, having watched it this year, but eh. I won't complain over it.

I doubt it will win but I am voting for Ultraman Nexus as an Ultra fan.

Matrix, the Ultra which was dubbed was Tiga. And that dub was just plain wrong.

It's doing a lot better than I anticipated, honestly.

And thanks. Yeah, I was not a fan of that dub.

OOO needs more votes. I dun wanna watch Black :lol To many bad memories of Masked Rider.

Wrong show. Masked Rider was Black RX, which is a very different show from Black.

Black and Black Rx are like night and day... I like them both but Black is hardcore!

I wouldn't mind if OOO won. I've only seen it once so far. And that's what got me into Kamen Rider. Although, I didn't know Amazon was only 24 episodes. Seeing that he's pretty much the only showa rider I plan to get an SHF of, I guess my vote goes there.

I totally wouldn't mind watching Go-Onger again either. There are some parts of that show I can never get tired of. It would be funny if that somehow won since I watched Geki and then Go-On when I got into Sentai.

I don't know that I liked Dekaranger enough to want to re-watch it so soon. I think I finished that show at the end of last year.

I am a bit interested in the other shows, but idk if I want to get into more toku just yet.

To show my appreciation for the 20th Anniversary of Power Rangers, plus the fact that 2 of that season's Rangers (T.J. and Cassie) will be appearing in Super Megaforce, I voted for Power Rangers In Space.
