Kamen Rider Gaim Speculation/Rumors Thread
 

Saw this on 4chan. Certainly matches some of the rumors. Guess we'll see. Wish it were from the front.

was posted on 2chan a few hours ago they seemed not sure themselves there. some said it was a local hero but i couldn't find any hero that matched.

there is another pic floating around showing a film scene in a crowd of people that supposedly has our new leading mans back shown

Considering Gaimu can mean Armored Warrior, depending on translation, this seems possible but after the whole belt thing I'm just not sure. If that is him it's definitely an interesting look. I could get behind that.

A samurai themed rider, what would the gimmick be? Swords?

I doubt it's the swords themselves. They'll likely change whenever he form changes, though.

My guess is we could see one of a few things. We may see an old standby like cards come back. We could see him have a form change device that lets him select modes. We could possibly see him change modes sans-gimmick (Unlikely as bandai likes to sell mercy) or maybe we'll go back to having a rider with only a base and ultimate form (again, unlikely for merch reasons).

I certainly like the design. It has potential for form changes as well. It would be easy to change color, layer types of armor on top, give it different weapons and change the helmet crest or something. So far, so good. Now, I really hope the writing's there this time.

There was a rumor that the gimmick is stamps. Not like stamps you put on a post card, but like rubber stamps/seals. And the seals he uses are all based on previous Heisei Riders.

It sounds stupid, though.

Second one. To go with the samurai theme.

Again, Bandai comes up with an out of nowhere, strange gimmick for form switching. We go from Cards to USB Sticks to Coins to Switches(still confused by this one honestly) to rings to stamps? Man, gimmicks are getting weirder.

On the other hand, for as dumb as it sounds, I kind of like it. Better than giant swords being lugged around everywhere or appearing out of subspace when the rider wants them.

I saw a drawing that showed the collectible gimmick more like small daggers that he plugged into the side of his belt, either side.

yeah that was fake and the guy who drew it even said it was fake when he uploaded it.

It's this one right? That was debunked, it's been floating around for a while.

EDIT: got beaten to it. Though I kind of like this better than stamps.

Don't want to spoil the fun but I think that picture has more to do with Yumejuushi Valiard than Gaimu.

Shoulders and helmet look a bit bulky. Dunno, usually the main rider is sleaker than that.

There is this,just incase future out of suit shots show up for comparison.(It may be a rumor,but usually when jefusion post something about a new riders main actor,theyre spot on)

AlphaHeroShock confirmed that as fake. Usually when Jefusion posts that kind of stuff they're jumping the gun. Like they did with the initial Kyoryuger actor rumors.

That's the thinking at the moment. He's the same guy in the second pic that was posted on the last page. He is definitely wearing the same belt as the potential Gaimu there.

Perhaps we could have a Black/Shadow Moon thing, except this time the evil counterpart will have a human form?

Jefusion is terribly unreliable. There are people on 4chan who make up bizarre rumors specifically to trick Jefusion and it always works. They'll post anything.

Gaimu's writer has been confirmed as Faust (My Little Pony), and directing will be Ryuki Takahashi (Kengo from Fourze). We even have confirmation that Gaimu is a female rider, and will be played by Tomoko's actress Shiho. Lending it's self more to past Riders, his secondary rider will be Kento Handa. Known better as Kamen Rider Faiz!

It can't be worse than Wizard Flames basic design. It definitely looks better than that and Fourze for that matter. I'm tired of plain looking riders. If that's Gaimu he looks really different and dynamic.

Too plain with all the white, and I never truly got over the pointed helmet or how ham fisted the switches were.

Take that back about Fourze. >~<

I usually grow to like all the suits. Fourze I liked right off, it was fun. OOO I didn't initially like but grew to. Even Stronger, which I kind of hated at first sight, I like now. It's hard to judge till you see them in action. The suit actors really sell a lot of the designs for me.

Fourze' personality sold me on the character. But I never quite clicked with the suit. I always felt like I was watching Kamen Rider Jr. Now Elec, Fire, and Cosmic were awesome. Cosmic really hammered home my appreciation for his theme. Magnet need not be spoken of.

And the belt was clunky as all hell.

I found most of his upgrades much uglier than his base form, and minus Cosmic, they actually limited his powers so much in comparison to Base I can see why they were hardly used.

I never was big on Fourze's suit, but it really just got worse looking with each upgrade.

If the rumor of this being a samurai themed rider is true, I hope they make some kind of reference to zatoichi. Maybe his mentor and/or secondary rider could be blind. There hasn't been a blind rider before has there?

The colors are kind of strange. The helmet reminds me of PR Samurai's Mega Modes but that might just be because of the samurai thing. I was hoping for something a little more traditional like TaToBa, but it's all good.

Nago became blind in Kiva.

if the next rider does have a samurai theme to him, it would be nice if the character himself would follow the code of the samurai in some way, shape, or form.
