Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Grack Division Final
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

It's been an eventful series of matches, but we've finally come down to the end of this division. We have two Rangers left to go and they're amongst the best. So let's figure out once and for all who the ultimate Grack Ranger is.

It's a match up of former teammates, both of whom have come back to help out later teams when they were needed. Will Adam bring out the power of a Green Ranger who used to be Black? Or will Tommy bring out the power of a Black Ranger who used to be Green?

Gotta give it to Adam. Mostly cause JYB is more of a hero to me (since he is a voice actor and a ranger). JDF is cool and Tommy is definitely awesome, but I feel Adam could support Green's fighting style more :)

As much as I wish Adam hadn't beaten Ziggy, I'd rather have him win Grack than Tommy.

TOMMY IS THE BEST AS A 6TH RANGER.

Adam, He could probably give Tommy a run for his money anyway, but either way, I want Tommy as 6th, so come on Adam!

I voted Tommy.Everyone wants him as sixth just cause he was the iconic sixth ranger,yet when he was Dino Thunder Black,he had all the experience of being Green,White,and Two Reds.Also more power then before.

Adam. I think Tommy would win in a fight between them, but I want Tommy in as White, or Green, not as Dino Black.

And I really do love Adam and Johnny so, I'm alright with him winning :lol

As much as I love Adam I think there are better members for this team than him in the 6th round. If Tommy loses here he likely wins 6th so we are going to end up with Adam and Tommy if Adam wins. I think Tommy fits that Gokai Green better than the Silver anyway.


But he won't be wearing Dino Thunder Black if he wins, he'll be wearing green. Isn't he a bit old to be the hot shot sixth anyway? Not a lock that he will win that division at all, not unless having him as Green or White means pulling younger Tommy from the past.

Tommy. Again, I say he was at his best as Dino Thunder black.

Although I would have liked Zack to take this, I'm gonna go with Tommy now as he is more deserving than Adam.

I want Tommy because I want someone else in as the Sixth Ranger.

Adam for the reasons I stated in the last thread.

Tommy was a great Black Ranger, he has the powered up form and just a better fighter then Adam. I love Adam but Tommy is the better Ranger.

I still stand by the fact that Tommy looks good in green and could play the role of hardened veteran of the team. I also still want to see how the 6th round plays out without Tommy. I love Adam as much as the next guy, but i still think Tommy wins.

It's sad that Tommy is losing.I know alot want him as sixth ranger,but man there are so many other sixth rangers out there that are really good that are gonna be dumped on just cause "He's Tommy" and "We want the Green/White ranger!"

Oh,and now I'll use the same excuse that got some good rangers eliminated."Can't have Tommy as a sixth,cause then we'd have 2 MMPR rangers and that's just not fair"

I just don't get people, I am basically done caring about this team.

But it has Andros! And Jen! And Lily! And TJ! It's still awesome, no matter who wins this

If Adam gets onto the team, he'll be my first disappointment as he is not the best Grack has to offer by a long mile. I'm not all that happy about Carter honestly either as I think there have been much better Reds but he is at least a good one in the first place. Who the fuck cares about Adam?

I would have preferred Zack or Bridge by a wide margin compared to anyone else, but eh. Can't win them all.

Adam is getting votes because people don't want them to go to Tommy, rather than getting votes because people actually want them to go to Adam.

That's a bit negative. There have been posts where people said they liked Adam.

Which are in the minority and lost in the sea of people voting for Adam because that means they aren't voting for Tommy.

I voted for Adam because Adam I consider Adam the best Power Ranger in the entire franchise that doesn't need to be constantly fawned over by the narrative or the fans/actor who plays him.

I'd rather see Tommy in sixth, not because he'll win. But because there's decent competition in there I'd like to see him face.

I don't want Tommy to win. I really don't. Tommy has experience, but no power.

The dude was willing to morph with a broken morpher, just because he couldn't stand by and let others battle evil while he just stands there and watches. That alone has always made him one of my favorite Rangers.

I won't be upset if Adam wins this because he has all the credentials and ability to be considered one of the best for a best of team. It also makes for a well balanced look for the team having a white guy , African American and Asian guy. Typically ranger teams have that kind of diversity.

So with that said , i voted for Tommy. But if Adam wins then i certainly won't cry about it. I'll just be glad somebody from Mighty Morphin made it to the team. I was starting to doubt that it would happen at all.

There's a difference between 20 people liking Adam,and 20 people just wanting Tommy to lose cause they want him as a sixth.How does that make an ultimate team?

That being said,I have nothing against Adam,heck I liked him alot when he was MMPR Black for season 2 and 3,but Tommy is just better.

He surfed a Megazord by summoning a tidal wave.He can turn invisible.He's a great fighter who has been proven to be stronger then the other rangers.Yeah,no power at all.(Oh and notice I didn't mention Super Dino Mode,cause I know how much you hate it)

Megazords are inconsequential to this battle.
He never used the invisibility power while morphed (Unless the show demonstrated that the dino gems lets them use their powers while morphed, you can't just assume he can)
Wasn't it made clear that his superior strength against the other rangers was because the sword of darkness was making him stronger? His fighting against his past forms isn't an indicator of his strength for 3 reasons. 1 is that they were mental constructs, not the actual ranger. 2 is that there was no true sense of endurance since he physically wasn't doing anything. 3 is that it was all a test.

So, yeah. No power whatsoever. I'm standing by this.

Plus there's the fact that he's never really fought Adam either, so it isn't proven he's stronger.

Yet in any kind of sparring session they had when he was white,he won.The only ranger to match him was Jason.And also when I said he surfed the Megazord by summoning a tidal wave,I never said he was in it.

Edit:I will say that I couldnt find the fight scene,so I wont say Tommy beat Adam,but in that same scenario Adam never beat Tommy.I still say Tommy from Dino Thunder could beat Adam from MMPR.The experience levels and powers are just too greatly different.

This.I'm sorry if people are mistaking me for trying to put Adam down,he is my favorite black ranger.So yeah,even if he wins then I won't mind.The thing I care about is that if he does win,then why hold a sixth? We all know who most of the people out there would vote for,they said it throughout the Grack division.

I have to agree. If Tommy loses this, then the sixth will be very boring, since we all know who'll win.
