Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament - Sixth Division Round 3
 

Let’s play a game: The Gokaiger adaptation isn’t season two of Megaforce, it’s a brand new series with a brand old cast. The six Rangers are all returning characters from previous Ranger teams, gathered together to face off against the most powerful evil ever. But which six Rangers? That’s where this tournament comes in.

We’re going to cast this team with the very best Red Ranger, very best Pink Ranger, very best Blue Ranger, very best Yellow Ranger, very best Grack/Bleen Ranger, and very best Sixth Ranger.

The current team consists of:

Red Ranger: Carter Grayson
Yellow Ranger: Lily Chilman
Blue Ranger: TJ Johnson
Pink Ranger: Jen Scotts
Green Ranger: Adam Park

The rules are simple: the Rangers of each color fight it out to see which one stands at the top of their personal section of the rainbow. The winners will be determined by popular vote, feel encouraged to explain your choices to help sway the undecided. Fights are all-out brawls – any power-up or weapon is permitted, short of the Zords.

Battles are decided by random selection and each character is represented for each of their colors (Rocky and TJ are in both Red and Blue, Tommy is in Red and Sixth, etc.). Rangers with multiple powers in the same color will be using the ones which are most unique to them (Adam is Zeo Green, Cassie is Space Pink, etc. – yes, this kinda shafts the Turbo Rangers, I know – all three Turbo fans are free to register their complaints). All major teams are represented, MMPR through Megaforce. Evil Rangers like the Psychos and A-Squad - as well as one-shot Rangers like Cat or SPD Red Bridge - are excluded.

Will Cam honor the proud ninja traditions of the samurai (yes, I know)? Will Daggeron be able to win without the help of a genie? Will Sentai vote for Daggeron because of Cyber Cam, who really doesn't factor into this? Which Ranger will reign supreme?

Daggeron. I loved Cam but Daggeron is cooler.

Daggeron is pretty cool, but come on. Cam was the best ranger on his team before he was even a ranger... also he might be related to Mia from Samurai. Seriously though, I still think he should have been the Red Samurai Ranger. But alas.

never watched Mystic Force and Cam is a powerhouse with charm.

But Cam is a Samurai with ninja training and a sword that doubles as a mic. He also has that Super Samurai mode.

Daggeron. Cam might be one of the brightspots in the manure that is Ninja Storm, but Daggeron just did more. And can do more. He wins this shiznitty.

And, I'd easily vote for him over Tommy in the Final.

Daggeron.He not only has magic on his side,but also a genie,a lamp pistol that has seeking shots so he can stay ranged,but he was also more of a mentor type then Cam.

Only thing I have against Cam is he made that really REALLY annoying robot double...Dude.

Cam, he was a Samurai ranger before it was cool. And he's the only Ninja storm ranger i actually remember.

Hmmmm. I want to say Daggeron but I think I'll go with Cam. As of now, we only have one member of our ultimate team that's under the theoretical age of 40...

I think that was all part of his genius. A way to trick the others into appreciating him more.

By making a robot that said dude all the time? And why would he need to trick them?

Jayden, Kevin, Emily, Mike, and Mia have "Super Samurai" modes as well.

What Matrix said, but I mean, at least cam didnt just put a coat on, he threw his heavy as hell armor off and swaped the top of his helmet :lol

That I'll give you. I like he lost the shield and his helmet soun around to form a different design. But so much of him was crap.

I did vote for Cam, but I think his Super Samurai Mode was worse than the Samurai Rangers' Super Samurai Mode. If it was called Ninja Mode, than I would let it slide. It doesn't change the fact that I think the Samurai Rangers' Super Samurai Mode is better, though.

Daggeron should win but alas it is a popularity contest.

either way, we have WAY too many Saban era rangers on this team.

There was nothing wrong with Saban or Disney era. There were probably as many good rangers in both as there were bad ones.

I agree with this.Thought Cam's super mode can't exactly be called samurai when he ditches his armor,it was better then the super samurai modes from Samurai.

I ultimately went with Cam in this round because he brings brains as well as brawn to the dance. He saved the Wind Rangers' bacon lots of times before he even got his powers.

Daggeron is tough, but more one-dimensional than Cam.

Back up your statements or stop complaining.

If you think Daggeron should win, prove why. Don't just bitch over how the character you like is losing.

Honeslty, if zi had known about this website sooner, I would have voted for Tommy as Red Ranger

One of those loses technically was cause some people wanted him as sixth so they voted for Adam.Oh,and do notice how I said some.I know a lot voted for Adam cause of his skill,which I do appreciate and understand,but if we cut out the people who wanted Tommy as a sixth,we probably would have him as Green/Black.It was a close match.

You're both right. Well, all three of you right.

Whitetiger is right because alot of this tournament has been a popularity contest.

Matrix is right because Tommy, the most popular character and actor, has lost twice now.

And Skull is right in that everyone wanted him to be a sixth and that was why he lost.

And I'm right in that Daggeron should win this on skill. Cam was never really trained all that extensively in the ways of the Wind ninja. He has skills, sure. He has an analytical mind that Daggeron can't touch. And when he ditches the vest he gains incredable speed and power. But Daggeron has that already without needing a second mode. Plus he has countless years of battle experience, a gawddarn Genie, and can call on more power than Cam.

Logically Daggeron wins this. It won't be a one-sided fight, four out of ten times Cam wins this fight. But Daggeron just has that edge.

Plus name one thing Cam did beside make an idiotic surfer bad-plot device of a clone.

… He built the Zords? He saved an entire school of ninjas? He controlled a giant wooly-mammoth robot with a guitar?

Yea, that I'm calling BS on that. I can accept Zords rising from volcanos, given by some nasely ninja master, and created by secret government originzations underwater. Or millionares with robotic sons who can't act.

But one guy, with absolutely no money and no resources, somehow creates three zords and a miriad of weapons without anyone noticing or any outside help?

Billy building a flying car that can travel through time, as well as the Zeo and Turbo (Implied) zords is acceptable, but Cam building his show's zords aren't?

Billy was always under the tutelage of Zordon. if cam built the zords then how did they coincidentally wind up compatible with the thunder zords

Oh, so he discovered that a piece in the megazord that HE built would allow the two megazords to combine, but before that the piece had no meaning? Why would he even make that piece in the Megazord if it isn't really needed in the Wind Megazord? I'm calling BS on that.

Cam built the zords. Cam combined the two. I don't care how far gone your suspension of disbelief is. It's canon. That's how it happened in the story. Deal with it.

I still like Daggeron,but I have an answer for you.Cam is said to have built the zords.Did he design them? What if he found the plans and just built them,knowing the Wind ninjas would use them for good? It's kind of like putting a Gundam model together that you see a weird piece in and just go "meh",to find out later on that its used for an accessory released later.

Beast, I agree with you, but remember that Billy's creation of the Zords was already disregarded as a legitimate trait back in the Blue competition! So poor Cam is outta luck on that front! :lol

I'ma have to go with my favorite Power Ranger of all time, Cam. Daggeron was a pretty good character, and definitely brought a lot to his team. Cam though was a technical genius, had the brains to help solve a lot of the team's problems, and was pretty much the best ranger in the season, and that's before he even became the Samurai Ranger.

I never said that was okay either :lol

And also has nothing to do with the fight. Billy built Zords but he'd still lose to Daggeron.

i was under the impression cam built power spheres but didnt build the megazord but did discover the pieces to combine the two. *shrugs*
