We brought you the reveal of these new figures, we brought you the first official images, and now we bring you a plethora of official photos for both S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Black Renewal & Battle Hopper Renewal!

Black and Battle Hopper are slated for October release (with some pre-orders going live tonight at Amiami) and priced at 3500 & 4500 yen respectively!

And don't forget the reissue of S.H. Figuarts Shadowmoon that's accompanying these new figures, also in October for 3360 yen.

Yeah, the helmet is diffinity off just a bit. Closer than the original, but still. Whatever, the rest is damn near spot-on.

The joints look so much better with the suit sculpt and paint on them. I only wish he and Battle Hopper were sold together just so I didn't have to worry about not being able to get both.

Love the new body, not really digging the new head.

I like it. I like it enough I'll stop calling him Masked Rider, and if I bought Figuarts I'd buy one.

Feet look plastic which is actually more of a plus to me.

Also the Gorgom symbol looks engraved/sculpted rather than tampoed which is inspired.

What's the brown stuff underneath his black armor? Authentic, I know, but kind of weird, no? What's the deal?

...Ok guys, next LWW needs to be Black. I want to justify owning this one day.

Black is so good. I'll campaign the hell out of it for the next one, glad to watch it again. Nexus is rather short after all so we'll need to get ideas together in the next couple months :D

But these additional pictures really do impress me.

The creases and textures actually makes it look more like a 12" figure from Medicom than just a regular Figuart, I'm very excited and hope I can secure a preorder for both

I've always assumed it was supposed to be something like muscles underneath the armor. I assume the idea was to make it look less like a dude in spandex with some padded bits.

Please, no. Nothing from the last three years that we've all already watched.

Not to keep derailing this thread (but I'm about to). That arguement makes no sense. You've watched it. But there are alot of people that haven't watched it, would/might enjoy it.

Just because it's recent doesn't mean everyone has watched it.

Actually I'm gonna institute something along those lines with the next LWW. It's just not fair to make people watch something that's really recent like that when over half the community has seen it within the last couple of years. We lose a lot of participation on the newer shows. In fact shows like OOO and Gokaiger were still running when this site was founded.

So I'd say anything from Shinkenger and up in Sentai should be off limits and anything Decade and up for Riders. Just until we get some more of these out of the way and those shows have a bit more time to age. Granted we already did W but still. That means the 5 most recent years for each is off limits.

We have to get people to really choose something rather than rally around one or 2 shows that everyone really likes but most have seen already. Branch out people :D

Yes. Because they're recent, so obviously everyone must've watched them.

Please don't argue this point. The logic is there. New shows have been seen by a majority of the people here. Most people have kept up with or do keep up with the weekly type shows from the last few years. We recognize that not everyone has seen them but a large majority of this community does not participate when it's something they've already seen. Alot of us like to re-watch shows but it's not for everyone. This is the best way to get everybody in on discussions, older shows that are a bit newer to people who may only have seen the last few years worth of toku. LWW is supposed to be an opportunity to explore past series.

The more pics that come out, the better this looks.

It also looks like he has a new hand. I hope he has many more.

Oh, but I don't like how Battle Hopper is coming with a generic stage instead of a Black specific one like the previous one did.

As for the other argument. Let me ask this, how many out of 10 people have seen OOO? How many of those 10 people do you think have also watched Black? I bet 7 of those 10 have seen OOO while only 2-3 of those 10 have seen Black.

to say my final thoughts on off topic discussion that's why nexus is getting so much support, its something different

decade and shinkenger are the perfect points to have, because that's when our toku community really began to grow over here, was when those shows were airing, I know that's when i started getting into kamen rider and super sentai. I will gladly champion black for the next LWW

I never really participated in LWW before because it was newer stuff like W before, I'm participating this time because of ultraman nexus and I hope we keep up picking older things that most people haven't seen.

Maybe it will, they could've just used that one for test/promo shots.

Seriously, where the hell are the new SIC KTs? The last mass release was in February and it was a bike. All we've been seeing since then are Kuuga exclusives. It's about time we got Kiva or Kabuto already.

Reservations for Black are still on Hobbysearch, there just aren't any anymore for Battle Hopper or Shadowmoon.

UGH. Had Shadowmoon in my cart last night via AmiAmi... And he was gone before I could check out. And of course I get up too late for Hobbysearch.

So I got up at 3am like you guys said they go on sale and both BLack and Hopper were already sold out. -_- I'm not doing that ever again.
