Engine-Oh candy-toy/mini pla gallery
 

Doru Doru! It's RPM and Go-Onger month so that means a gallery of the Engine-Oh candy-toy kit. As seen in Engine Sentai Go-Onger and Power Rangers RPM. This kit came from a special G9 box set, and has awesome sparkling labels! It's also worth noting that non of the kits have engine souls, Buson has both compartments but only comes with the road saber.

I know there are reasons that the DX toys are not articulated like the Candy Toys (like Kyoryuger and Gokaiger) but why can't Bandai at least add elbows when possible?

Want. If only it wasn't so expensive on Mandarake.

Technically the DX has elbows.

That G9 minipla set is gorgeous though. The sparkling labels really set it off.

I meant froward moving 90° elbows! :lol

Or at least BoA can try that considering they have to generate new molds.

The photos dont really catch the effect of the labels.

Oh, they did like a special set of the first nine zords?

Maybe I'll look for that. Maybe it could end up cheaper?

This gallery is of the Engine-Oh from that set too. It's hard to see in the photos but this set looks great in person, the labels really add some extra pop to it. They only did a G9 assortment like that though. They never did spark label Kyoretsu-Oh.

So is it like all three sets in one box or just a special run?

I would love LOVE to get all the candy toys. But the cheapest is $30 and the most expensive is $55 on Mandarake. (which is down for some reason. Every page says "Forbidden") For FOUR sets. Yikes, I wish I was a fan when the show was airing. (then again I'd still be a year late, since RPM wasn't current with Go-Onger)

Everything looks better as a Minipla. Makes me wish they'd release them domestically.. then I remember it'd be BoA and the wish goes away.

It's like when people order minipla assortments/cases for new stuff. You get so many unique pieces then a bunch of duplicates of each. But since 10 is the magic number in most cases for pla assortments they made a sealed set that had 1 each of the G9 components (2 pieces for carrygator) in it and gave them special foil/sparkle labels. It's like buying an assortment now but getting no duplicates.

Yeah, it was a 10 box set of the first 9 engines (carrigator was 2 boxes). It came with special labels. I got my set off yahoo Japan with the help of a bid service. After all the expenses The final cost was around the $160 mark! I really wanted the set and it was getting harder to find so I bit the bullet.

G12 is still the best complete candy toy set. That thing is glorious. I also need to get around to grabbing Samurai HaOh sometime.

Maybe the Mandarake ones aren't that expensive after all.

Those labels are cool!

I love mine, although he's pretty floppy in the waist area and tends to fall off the legs a lot. Not that it matters because its almost permanently in G12 combination these days.

While cool, Its a shame they never release the final set with shiny stickers. And yes I agree. Engineoh G12 is the best minipla.I have all the big gattais from Boukenger till now and Engineoh G12 is sstill my favourite.
