Ultimate Ranger Team Tournament Epilogue - What's YOUR Ultimate Team?
 

Okay, so the tournament is over and, as a board, we've democratically selected the ultimate team of Power Rangers:

Adam Park, MMPR Black/Zeo Green
Robert James, Jungle Fury Violet
Carter Grayson, Lightspeed Rescue, Red Ranger
Theodore Jay Jarvis Johnson, In Space Blue
Lily Chilman, Jungle Fury Yellow
And Tommy Oliver as AkaRed.

But obviously there were some disagreements as there usually are with group decisions. So, to wrap all of this up once and for all, let's take the democracy out of this. So, straight up, if the membership of this team was 100% your decision, who would you cast as the ultimate Power Rangers team?

This is honestly a hard choice for me, i love way too many Reds.

Well, mine would be

Red - Wes
Blue - Flynn
Yellow - Kira
Green - Adam
Pink - Jen
Sixth - RJ

So basically what we got except for red blue and yellow. :lol

For me, it'd be-

Red- Wes
Blue- Sky
Yellow- Kira
Green- Ziggy
Pink- Kendrix
Silver- Gem or Antonio (just cause of how goofy they are)

Red—Lauren Shiba.
Blue—Flynn McAlister.
Yellow—Lily Chilman/Summer Landsdown (depends on the season of the year. :p)
Pink—Dana Mitchell.
Green/Black—Ziggy Grover.
Sixth—Robert "R.J." James.

Red - Wes

Blue - Sky

Green - Bridge

Yellow - Kira

Pink - Karone

Silver - Cam

Pink - Jen (because Umeko is sadly ineligible)

For me, personally, I'm adding a one ranger per series rule.
With that rule in place, my ultimate Ranger team would be:

Red Ranger: Wes, Time Force Red
Blue Ranger: TJ, In Space Blue
Yellow Ranger: Taylor, Wild Force Yellow
Green/Black Ranger: Zack, MMPR Black
Pink Ranger: Kendrix, Lost Galaxy Pink
6th Ranger: Doggy, SPD Shadow

Why the 1 per series rule? Because without it, my team was originally:

Blue: TJ
Yellow: Katie
Grack: Bridge
Pink: Jen
6th: Eric

Red:Casey.Amazing growth potential.Went from rookie to master through the series.Potential to grow even more.
Blue:Noah.The intelligence,if not more so,of Billy,with better fighting skills and power.
Yellow:Taylor.Tough.Capable of being a leader if needed.
Pink:Mia.Nice,kind,and caring.Can hold the team together.That being said,also has samurai training and sigil power.
Grack:Xander.Unknown amount of power.Comedy relief,but when it's time to fight he's more then capable of holding his own.
Silver:Kruger.Battle tested.Commands respect without asking for it and has years of leadership experience.

Green/Black: Dillon (Ranger Series Operator Black)
Pink: Jen (Pink Time Force Ranger)
Silver: RJ (Violet Wolf Ranger)

Red - Casey
Blue - Sky
Yellow- Gia
Grack - Tommy
Pink - Jen
Silver - Ryan.

Red: Conner (Dino Thunder) because he's OP
Blue: Billy (MMPR) if he wears the armored movie suit when he's in original form
Green: Cam (Ninja Storm) because he's OP
Pink/White: Undonna (Mystic Force) because my team is starting to get sexist and she's a great ranger if she uses MMPR white form she's armored too
Black: Tommy (Dino Thunder) because he has more experience than any other Black and he's a certified bad ass
6th: Anubis (SPD) pretty much the same reason as Tommy plus he's a wise leader

No yellow because no yellow ranger was memorable to me. For my team I centered around explosive power (Cam, Conner, Tommy) and then added some brains (Billy) and rounded it out with some leadership/wisdom/experience (Kruger, Udonna, Tommy). Also, they all have really great costumes which to me is part of being a ranger, looking cool.

Red: Andros, Space Red

Sixth: Mike, Magna Defender

Um... I might be wrong, but I think bith Cam and Udonna would go in te sixth ranger position....

I think this is a really great team actually. Don't know how they would mesh but I am sure it would be fine.

If I had to pick a back up team, meaning no repeats from this one, it would be...

Red- Andros. Not a big fan of most Reds and he was active for a long time afterward. Maybe Bridge if he qualified.
Yellow- Kira
Blue- Sky
Green- Tommy
Pink- Cassie
Silver- Ryan
AkaRed- Alpha 5 (j/k)

My Ultimate team, my rules. So in that regard, yeah you're hella wrong.

Man, you guys have no idea how nice it is to come home late from work and not have to start a new round. :)

It's a bit disappointing now, because now I don't have a poll to answer. Oh, well—there's the Ultimate Megazord thing.

Seriously though. Why aren't we getting an American AKARed? He could bring the MF team their Legacy Power, he could bring Silver. He would be awesome.

Aka Red is probably best left as a Sentai only character... Need I remind you of what became of Gosei Knight when he was brought over?

Not to mention that his first appearance was in one of the Boukenger movies so if they were planning to bring him over they would have already done so in Operation Overdrive.

It wouldn't take much to introduce him.
