Knew I wasn't imagining things when I thought the american keys were wider looking.

I have no real interest in the keys anyway but I had to pop in to express my ':/' face, They don't look all that far away from the knock off ones in the bootleg thread.

BOA are notorious for being cheap and basically knocking off the Japanese toys rather than either importing them or making their own versions but my God I haven't seen it look this bad.

When I got my first BOJ Ranger keys, they turned out to be a lot smaller than I had expected. Did not think it was possible to make them even smaller. O.o

Im not sure whether to laugh or just get mad at BoA for this. Ill just laugh, I have actual ranger keys so I dont really care about these now.

That's the other thing. There's no point in being upset. Adult collectors who are interested already have the BoJ Keys and Mobirates. Kids who don't even know what Gokaiger is will have these and have fun with them.

RoboKnight is something worth being upset over.

To be honest, I'm surprised they even kept the key aspect. I would have expected them to dump them wholly. So this is a pleasant surprise and I'm glad kids have something to collect. :D

Of course because thats a character, not a toy or gimmick. I mean I dont even have a Mobirates, but I want one because it looks amazing and play value and such.

But I have to say this: IF and we are talking BoA so thats a big if, If the American keys yell out their series name, I will at least be tracking down Jungle Fury, Dino Thunder, and RPM. Regardless of crappy they made my- RJs ramger key. Hes not that pink in person is he?!?

Well the one thing that we can hope for at that size is that they're at least not completely hollow. Besides, that level of detail at that size, plus the fact that they all have the added feature of being spring-loaded makes me hopeful that the size was the biggest cut they took. I'm hoping and expecting that most of the non-Reds will be easier to get than the BoJ counterparts.

Some more direct angles would be easier to compare.

true that, I think alot of people are upset about the keys being so small because we were holding onto the hope that theyd work in the Mobirates as well (as much of a long shot as that was). I dont think any of us thought they could actually make these things smaller than the BOJ ones are

Oh my god, they're so small! Making them so much smaller never occurred to me in the first pics. That's terrible. I mean, JP Ranger Keys are not big, they must be so tiny.

I feel sorry for people who waited for the BoA keys. Doesn't bother me because I have nearly every DX Key, which are the only ones I was really interested in, but for those people, this must suck. I honestly did not think BoA could screw up something as simplistic as the Ranger Keys. That takes serious screwing up skills.

That's so tiny, I generally like small things but this is a whole new level.

As long as kids have fun with them, it doesn't bother me.

They took off size for accuracy lol.

eh I dont mind the size. I'll still probably get them. They give me an excuse to go out and toy hunt.

They might be nice small pick ups, if they also come in blind bags for about 3$. The detail and gimmick on them is nice at that size.
