SUPER Megaforce Speculations and Rumors Thread
 

This is it Folks. The Official Speculations and Rumors Thread. Now, here's what we know for sure.

- Silver Ranger will not be RoboKnight, but Roboknight will be used through Super MegaForce
- They will Morph into the Megaforce Suits (Goseiger) and then change into Super MegaForce (Gokaiger)
-They will use the Legacy Morpher and Ranger Keys (Mobirates)

I'll speculate when Megaforce ends.

My speculations...

- No Basco (maybe as a MOTD but nothing more)
- No series-specific themes played
- Very little "American" footage shot, other than for Goseiger to Gokaiger changes
- No "American" Rangers shown, other than Titanium in the Legendary War
- No complete sets of "keys" released, only certain keys (ie: Red Rangers, a few 6th Rangers, Samurai Rangers, Mighty Morphin)

I'm pessimistic because then when I'm wrong I'm happy.

Smart.

Personally, my theory is that the instrumental Megaforce theme we sometimes hear in Morphs will be the Super Megaforce theme. Just with more words.

I just want instrumentals of past seasons. If they do just that i'll be happy.

*There will be Power Rangers.
*Aliens will attack people.
*People will scream when aliens attack.
*Power Rangers will save the people from the aliens.

No Basco almost makes me happy. He was such a great thing in Gokaiger, all Saban could do was screw him up. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you RoboKnight as my example.
I think you're right about the Keys though. No way we get comprihensive sets like were released in Japan. We'll get the Red Rangers, Green and White from MMPR, and maybe the only full team we'll get will be the original six and maybe Megaforce. Maybe.

That's my hope. That they insert a key, and we hear "Go Zeo Go, Zeo!" That would make me happy.

I'm not sure about the key limit. Did you see all the keys displayed at SDCC? There was definitely keys that weren't red there, and there definitely keys that weren't from the oldest or most recent series.

There's always a difference between what you see at SDCC and what actually makes it to the market. Look at Naruto Figuarts.

I'm seeing an advertisement for a SDCC exclusive Chakra Naruto that looks nothing like the crappy ZERO Chakra Naruto exclusive that was actually released. Is that it?

Nothing happened. We saw an entire stage of Naruto Figuarts doing Shadow Clone, and then nothing. And my guess is that will happen to so many of those Keys.

Such a shame. As absolutely crap as the Naruto manga has been for about the past three years, I'd love Figuarts of them.

But sorry for going off topic for a little there!

I'm starting to assume that despite what Saban has said, the Dairanger's won't be the only ones in this that are sentai only. When you look how sloppily they've done the merch and promos and what have you, I really don't think they'd go through the effort of working around all the sentai teams, except one. I mean hell that sounds like effort for Saban, Neo Saban? Not a chance.

I dunno whether they'll get whole episodes, or whole fights, but I'm starting to think more and more the Dairanger's won't be the only suits the heroes access or the show features that have kids around the world going 'wut, who are they'

I think how many keys released depends on how popular they turn out to be. The Sentai versions have gone on well after Gokaiger ended, and assuming these things will get released in blind bags (which seems a perfect way to get more out there) they have the potential to go on for plenty of waves.

Anyway, while what you see at an event may be different. BoA aren't Tamashii Nations. That was A LOT of keys to make just for the sake of "display only".

My prediction? There'll be a few sets of keys (MMPR, Super Megaforce) and the rest blindpacked. Meanwhile Bandai UK will fail to release most of the keys just like they're doing with the card game.

Final note...will there even be Megaforce keys in-show? I mean, technically the team don't actually need them right?

With a 20 year old franchise, I guess a lot of kids will be doing that anyway :lol

I don't think they'll use the other Sentai. Considering that 52 episodes with usually about 3 Gokai Changes an episode, they have plenty of footage of every team to display. It also helps that after Gokai Silver joined pre-Zyu Gokai Changes became a bit less common because there weren't enough members compared to Gokaiger.

However, I think its definite they won't bother to hide the Sentai in the Legend War. I know they've filmed some extra footage, but this is Saban and I think the temptation to just mostly copy paste the Sentai footage will be too much. I expect to see a lot of Sentai in the background, just like we've seen in Megaforce.

I keep forgetting this is like twenty episodes long...

But I guess that does explain why we keep seeing the Sentai war in the promos despite 'shooting their own', I'm guessing by 'shooting their own', it's just the sentai war with a bit of tacked on footage here and there which will turn out to be completely superfluous.

They could release a Megaforce Team. They may not use them in the show, but they could still release a set of them. Because Megaforce.

I am just going to say it now. What the **** is up with the TItanium Ranger's helmet in the Legend War?

That is exactly what I've been wondering about.

By guess is they never kept the original and had to whip something up quick for the Legend War. Much like in Dino Thunder when they needed Zeo Red, MMPR Green, and MMPR White Rangers again.

They won't use them in show but my guess is we'll still get a set of them.

Are we? Cause if they want someone to voice it, I know a certain VA who happens to be voicing a certain little bronze bird in a Gokaiger fandub :D :lol

You know what someone said to me the other day? That Saban but this as the Super Megaforce Rangers catchphrase- "Mega Rangers, that was Mega Marvelous!"

I'm not one to shoot the messenger... But if Saban makes that the catch phrase I may just have to.

another thing that's interesting is that we havent seen the inside of the gokaigelleon since they are obviously on it.

You won't see the other Super Sentai teams that weren't brought to the United States because Saban doesn't have the rights to them. The only stipulation is that he does have the rights to Gokaiger, so there's a gray area. It would be silly to put them in and be unable to do any merch for them though. So I doubt we'll get anything Sentai, not even Dairanger (still think it was just a quick mash up video for Licensing/SDCC).

There's still the displayed mini Shishiranger key to support the idea of Dairanger in SMF.

Here's my question, the hell is Saban gonna do with AKA red? From what I read, he's a pretty big part in the Gokaiger plot.

He only appears in flashbacks so they it's not that big of a deal.
