I'm going to 3 forums these days and i'm geniuly surprised that none of them have KH Threads. Okay i'm a big fan of KH and my favorite game in the series is the 3DS one.

I was so hyped for that game that i played through RE:Coded, 358 days, Chain of Memories and The world ends with you to get prepped for it.

Sadly the only KH games I have played in full are 1 and 2. I tried playing 358 days/2 but my OCD got the better of me in trying to complete everything. I do love the series a lot and hope we see great things in store.

You have no idea how painful 358 actually was to finish. Only the last world was entertaining. I did play 2 and freaking loved it but i never finished it because i was playing on my cousins PS2.

358 was really tough because of the episodic layout. It got hard to play even though the story was excellent.

You must finish 2! Such an excellent game with a GREAT ending. Final boss was spectacular, might I add.

Will you get the HD remix for PS3?

I like the Kingdom Hearts games.
That said, Square Enix can fuck off and die for milking the franchise rather than actually completing the allegedly "Deep and interesting story" they so heavily market.

I don't have a PS3 but i actually am planning on getting it. XD Do you really think a KH fan like me is gonna pass up on the first final mix release in the west?

They did kind of overdo it, didn't they? I think Kingdom Hearts should return to the roots of its former simplicity.

I didn't really like 358.

To be honest, until today I don't get exactly what message Kingdom Hearts is trying to preach. :lol Make no mistake, there is a message, it's just very vague.

There's a message? I thought i was going through my childhood memories blowing sh*t up with a giant Key.

It's a Disney production, so there is a message. Something about light in darkness or friendship being eternal or memories are forever or something. Never could figure it out, the story is quite convoluted. :lol

Square Enix is one of my least favorite game developers and franchise owners, constantly feeling content to make one or two games I find interesting before abandoning the franchise forever because it didn't sell as well as the last Final Fantasy.
I think Final Fantasy has been on a horrible and drastic decline in terms of quality, gameplay wise, since 10. On a story telling level, since 8.

And now, with the Kingdom Hearts 3 announcement featuring non-existent graphical improvements from 2 (SE's entire MO at this point seems to be "If it looks pretty, it's a good game" these days), and the complete ass wipe announcement of "In Production" (Which, technically, could be "Kazuhiko from Accounting wrote a funny joke about KH3, so it's now "In Production") just irritates me.

So yeah. While I'd be alone, but seeing as how I'm never getting another Drakengard, I'd probably be dancing in the streets when Square Enix finally has to try when it comes to game development rather than making a game look good and coast on FF7's popularity when another game fails.

I think the only reason KH3 looks like that is because it's either really early in development, which it is and the style is the kind of thing that if it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't see the graphics getting any better than what they were in 3D.

Well it did certainly look more cinematic, and the pony count did look higher, so they could always improve it later on. Ok "In Production" was a bit odd, but at least they aren't keeping people in the dark. FF15 looks good, and looks like it'll shake things up; being a game in the main series, and not being turn based.

I think one of my main beefs with modern Square Enix is the need to philosophize everything in terrible ways. The convoluted stuff in Kingdom Hearts is light compared to the Final Fantasy games. It's the same tropes over and over again, and not much of it is really good philosophy.

The thing that would make FF better if they used the KH game engine when fighting enemies due to that would work so much more in my eye in making a new and awesome FF game

That would be Final Fantasy XV, I believe. :lol

I can't unsee the name Leon and Stitch, because Stitch ends up in Hollow Bastion with Leon and the others.

...I want to see someone take the Lilo and stitch opening and edit Leon's face over Lilo.

I love the little touch they put in KH3D's Fantasia world where Sora and Riku start orchestrating the title screen music for KH1 and Chain of Memories. It takes me back to the days when i first got Chain of memories without knowing what KH was and going. "Who da funk is Riku?"

Wait will FF XV Be the game I complete in FF and not get board of is it true it be using the KH engine

You know what grinds my gears for KH3? It's coming out on PS4, XBox1... And no Wii U. What the hell square, you really want to prevent half your fanbase from getting the last game of the story!?

I just hope they put the final mix version on Wii U just to piss people off.

My one hope for KH3 is that there's a Wreck it Ralph world.

I don't know the specifics of graphics and console power and all that, but I imagine that has A LOT to do with that decision.

Besides, its not like 1 or 2 came out on anything other than Playstation 2...

Last game of the whole Organization story according to Tetsuya. And besides, maybe we'll be surprised and have it released on Wii U.

I'd honestly mark out if they worked in a world inspired by Studio Ghilbi and Miyazaki. Disney still owns the rights to distribute the movies if I remember correctly, so it's as possible that we get some Miyazaki awesomeness as it is that we'd get Star Wars, Marvel, or anything Pixar.

Yeah i can understand putting it on PS4... But Xbox 1?

Disney don't have any rights to Ghibli in Japan itself though.

Oh yeah you're right. Dammit. It would've been cool as hell to run around in the world's of Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

I want a Chrono trigger cameo.

I want a Drakengard cameo. Still SE franchise...

Anyway, I'm more surprised it's not a XB1 exclusive. It's not like the entire fucking franchise hasn't been broken up enough.
We have 1 and 2 on PS2, Chain of Memories on GBA, Birth By Sleep on PSP, 358 Days over 2 (Don't care if it's titled "358/2 Days", it's a stupid title) on DS, 3D on 3DS, coded on mobile phones, and I just found out we're gonna have some stupid ass title (X[chi]) on PC.

Kingdom Hearts can't keep consistent to save their lives. What made you think they'd release on the Wii U? They already have 3 titles on Nintendo consoles, obviously they hit some kind of quota.

I thought they would release it on both PS4 and WiiU because half of the series is on PS and the other is on Nintendo.

It would be awesome if this guy made an appearance in KH3.

I want a Spectrobes Keyblade.

I just want a new spectrometry game for 3DS =p or WiiU, but less like the Wii titles and more like 2...

Anyway... I didn't know it was coming to Xbox...this changes things slightly...

Star Ocean would be pretty fun to see a cameo from.

But could you imagine...if Square Enix bought Atlus and used some of those characters? I'd jizz myself from the epicness.

Nah. That'd be a fun cameo, but lead to a league of dead franchises because Square Enix doesn't believe in anything beyond Final Fantasy.

No, I hate their character design. The mechanics are fine.

If they plan to bring bacj Olympus collesium they better put a Thor cameo in there.

Thor doesn't fit in with the Colosseum.
However, Marvel does own it's own version of Hercules, so that kind of cameo would work.

Anyway, I want a WALL-E world that features AUTO as a villain.

It would be the only thing that would make another visit to that accursed coliseum worth something. XD

I can totally see Luke Skywalker being a party member. But having some Star wars music on loop as you explore a world for it would get pretty annoying.

I still don't think we'd see any Marvel characters. While Disney owns Marvel, the only integration we've seen between the two was the cameo on Phineas and Ferb.

Star Wars would be an interesting franchise to cross in. We'd probably see Anakin over Luke, though.

Yeah everyone i talk to about that say that the prequels would be better choices for worlds.

It's mostly because the villains of the prequels were robots, not people, and there were more villains (While the comics and novels had more than just Vader and Boba, the prequels were loaded with villains).

There's also the correlation between Mickey and prequel Yoda.

If they decide to use the first one i can see Pod racing as a minigame. XD
