The users at TokuNation.com must have felt that the color yellow was being highly under-represented in the voting process, because they've come together to vote Ciara Hanna, who plays Gia Moran the Yellow Ranger of the current series Power Rangers Megaforce as the 12th Best Power Ranger of All Time!

We're only a handful of episodes in to Power Rangers Megaforce, but we do know that Gia carries on to the Yellow Super Megaforce Ranger, which for Super Sentai fans was a huge favorite as Gokai Yellow.

Go Go Megaforce!

When Vrak and a bunch of evil insect aliens invade the Earth, Gosei, who was a student of the great Zordon, selects five teenagers with attitude to become the Power Rangers Megaforce, protectors of the Earth. Among them was Gia, the "good at everything and super hot" student. She harnesses the power of the tiger and becomes the Yellow Ranger of the Power Rangers Megaforce! Cool and confident, she takes charge of most situations and helps the team overcome their challenges. She is also the crush of Jake, the Black Ranger, and she seems aware of it and plays with it a little.

And ... that's all we know! We do know that she will obtain the ability to go in to both an Ultra form during Megaforce, and power-up with a new suit in Super Megaforce.

Ciara Hanna is the talented and beautiful Gia Moran. Easily a fan-favorite not only because of her beauty but also because of her superb acting thus far in the series, she is not new to acting! Previous shows she has been involved in include an episode of America's Next Top Model, Jonas, The Bold and the Beautiful, and iCarly. There are future works that her name is attached to, but there has been no confirmation yet so we don't feel comfortable putting them up.

A fun note for all of you ... Ciara Hanna is dating Jason Smith! You might remember him as Casey, the Red Ranger from Power Rangers Jungle Fury. Having had the pleasure of personally meeting both of them, we wish them all the luck in the world. You couldn't put two of the nicer people together as a pair if you tried.

I'm both shocked and disappointed that she even made it into this. Especially higher than Jen.

Granted , we have only seen 9 episodes of her in action. But she is the true highlight of the last 4 years worth of Power Rangers ( counting the MMPR replays , 2 season of Samurai and now Megaforce )

You're entitled to that opinion. Just like I'm entitled to think she's an awful character.

But anyway, good for her I guess? I suppose it is more interesting to see wildcard results every now and again.

As the staff knows, we held two "votes" ... one that the staff did first, and one that the fans did second, and the result are the pooled numbers.

Even if you take the staff votes out for Ciara Hanna (there wasn't many), she still ends up in the Top 20, though not as high up.

BUT! Good for her. It shows that the fans enjoy a strong mind, strong body female in the show as opposed to the "girly" types that we were continually given throughout the years (ie: Emily and Mia from Samurai). Where as Summer from RPM is almost the exact same type of character as Gia, it isn't force-fed to us every single day like it was with Summer. And I think that's the appeal that the fans like.

So basically she isn't Emma :lol No, seriously. Anyone else notice that the more indepentant and strong Gia gets, the more girly and reserved Emma gets?

I'm sorry, but Gia isn't a character. She's a piece of scenery that has very vague hints at actual personality traits like "I fold my arms so I'm TOUGH" without any actual attempt to flesh her into anything else to fill out the space between Goseiger footage, just like all her Megaforce partners.

There is absolutely no way she deserves to be above characters like Jen. No way.

I'm a bit shocked that Gia ranked this high... especially shocked that she ranked above Jen. Still, Gia is an awesome character and I'm glad she ranked this high.

I did not see this one coming! I have only seen a couple of MF eps so I cannot really judge, but she seems to have her supporters. It is neat to see a "modern" Ranger this high on this list.

You're more than allowed to be unhappy with the choice of Gia has number 12 on the list. That's your opinion, you're welcome to it. But demeaning the choice by saying it was based on anything but her character, and demeaning her by saying it was the only reason she was allowed to be number 12, is offensive to put it lightly.

If i let that do the voting , then Maya and Lily would be 1 & 2 on this list.

It's not offensive imo. She's hot and that counts for something no matter what people say, whether you're talking to a male or female. Denying that her looks were a factor is what is offensive to me.

Yeah, you're probably right. I woke up with a really bad headache this morning and it's put me in a pretty foul mood. Gia's actually one of the few good parts of Megaforce, too. Not sure why I'm so salty about her being on this thing, especially when I didn't even know it was happening until we started getting results.

.. That does seem to happen to alot of Female Power Rangers after they leave. It's like it's in their contract or something.

I can't really debate whether she deserves to be on the list since I haven't watched past the first ep of Mega Force.From what I remember,she was the most underdeveloped character in the premiere.Maybe she's gotten a much deeper character since then?Then again this is Nickelodeon-Saban and from what I remember from Samurai,their characterization was about as shallow as water spilled on a countertop.

Honestly, I'm not shocked. Not because of my feelings on Gia (for the record I like her) but because pretty much this whole list so far has just been baffling to me. Rangers who have no place on the list at all are there in all their glory while others who deserve to be in the top five are there in the bottom 5. So well done Gia.
