New Megaforce Happy Meal Toys Will Be Released Next Week!
8 Attachment(s)
The Megaforce Facebook page just posted new details on the Power Rangers Megaforce Zord Builder happy meal toys. The toys will be launching next week.
These figures will be hitting next week! In addition, each Happy Meal will include one exclusive Action Card Game card per figure packed in with their respective Ranger's Zord. |
In Puerto rico we usually get the happy meal toys like a week after the states, i'll aks my dad to check this week.
|
Even if the Megazord has really weird proportions, there's no denying that the individual Zords are pretty cool. They look like fun toys.

No, really. I always get combo eight. The one that comes with two cheeseburgers? And then I eat them a piece at a time. The bottom bun, then the patty, then the top bun. .. Stop staring at me!

If we are talking about separating food then nothing beats separating a pizza by parts, a true challenge :lol Quote:

well done, it's a big improvement to the pr samurai happy meal toys.

That's a clever way of getting around the Snake's otherwise ridiculous size compared to the other limbs, to replace the rest of him with the Lion. The resulting hourglass figure is ridiculous and funny, but it's a great idea in theory to maintain a consistent size!
|
reminds me of the old transformer armada and the light speed happy meal toys.
|
I kinda want those just for the ACG.

I'd quite like these, pity the chances of them coming to the UK are extremely slim.

As far as Power Rangers toys go, we usually get things but a lot later and its usually uncertain whether we get everything. For example, the Megaforce stuff only started appearing a month ago (and even then it's just all the first wave stuff, the Megazord etc.), and despite everywhere advertising the cards all we're getting card-game wise is the starter deck and the freebie ones with the figures. The boosters are definitely not coming out here. Then finally, we ARE getting the Legacy Morpher/Megazord but they haven't started hitting TRUs yet. I think they're due any time soon. No word on whether we'll get Shinken-Oh, but I doubt it. Even if we got everything, the price of importing is usually more appealing as well. Say something costs $60 for you, that most of the time means it'll be £60 here making it like $90 by comparison. |

I get Doctor Who toys as a trade off though, so whatever :lol |
Only drawback for me is that my daughter will no longer get awesome Smurfs like this:

Ah the buildable toy you get from aquiring all the toys in the promotion. Always was my favorite incentive for Happy Meals as a kid. Be it little Hot Wheels tracks, Transformers or that bugbot Juni had in Spy Kids 2.
And Sentai, don't give Zeo crap about the UK's sporadic toy releases. UK fans got a domestic Wolkaiser and that ALWAYS makes up for it!:lol |
The Snake looks better than the Deluxe Megazord version
|
Cool
Can't wait to pick these up. I hear Aug. 29th is official release date. Still showing Smurf ads for McDonald's on TV.
Going purchase two sets of these; one mint and other for display. Hopefully McDonald's allows bulk purchases of toys without buying a meal. :o |
Pretty sad when happy meal toys seem to rival the quality of BOA's "deluxe" offerings. These things are still pretty awful though. Wonder whose bright idea it was to just throw the lion in the middle like that?
|
i walked into my local mcdonalds the other day to ask when this promo was starting. they answered and then told me they would put my name on the display for the end of the promo... i was like "is that seriously something ya'll do?" and the manager was like "usually an employee takes the display, but we'll put your name and contact info on it so you can take it FREE OF CHARGE when the promo is up."
Merely to say I jumped on the opportunity at the kindness of strangers. I just need to have the patience to wait til September before I get my set. |

Update
I called one of my local McDonald's and they'll be selling the Megaforce toys Friday. Sadly people already have claims on the promotional advertiser.
Selling them for $.99 each plus tax - come to $1.16 each! Hope this helps. :) |
My Mc donalds said they started doing it last Sunday...Weird they still have the Smurfs stuff.
|
Own
About twenty minutes ago left MCDonald's (where I waited nearly 30mins) and picked up two complete sets of 6 Zords and 3rd Dragon & Lion Zords. Yea!
Came out to $13.98 I believe for 14 toys. |
