Your favorite season of Power Rangers?
 

There's been a ton of seasons in the last 20 years, but some stand out more than the others. Do you have a favorite? If so, which one and why?

Mine is Power Rangers RPM. It felt so different, yet so awesome. The more adult-themed storylines and storytelling really made this season stand out to me.

Wild force. Hells yeah!

Hmm...It's either Time Force or Turbo.
Oh, who am I kidding. It's Time Force. It's amazing, far outshining the vastly overrated In Space and Zeo in terms of writing.

Can't choose between Time Force/SPD I like both of them a lot.

In Space. It was the end of an era.

Power Rangers RPM. Superb acting, superb storytelling, superb characters, superb quality, and the pinnacle of the franchise. Whenever someone says Power Rangers started to suck after Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, this is the season that I bring up to assist in changing their mind.

Zeo was my first so let's go with that, the Zords weapons monsters action and the overall style of that season is my favorite to date I mean the Megazords had elbows for one and gold on Black is my favorite color design on anything plus the other five looked great as well. It still just might be nostalgia but I'm going for Zeo as my favorite

In Space fo'sure. Lightspeed Rescue is close to the same amount of love, but it's gotta be In Space. It wasn't my first series, but it was the one I watched constantly. I use to watch the Psycho Ranger movie tape over and over and over (I still have the tape). Everything was just awesome about it to me as a kid, and still is today as an adult.

Wild Force, and RPM

I have to say SPD. I like that the characters are not all friends initially. They have their own quirks and issues to resolve.

Jack does not want to be the leader, let alone a Power Ranger at first, but proves himself capable of doing the right thing.

Skye initially comes off as a 'by-the-book' stuck up, but later finds why he was not made Red Ranger.

Z spent her life trying to do good and upon becoming a Power Ranger finally feels she can do some real good.

Syd starts off obnoxious since she hails from upper class life, but comes to realize there are things out there that are more important than that.

And Bridge...well, he's Bridge, and he's entertaining whenever he's on the screen to me.

RPM in terms of story.

Again this was hard. Megaforce, though it's based on Goseiger, isn't near the top of my list. Jungle Fury had the cast, and the Story, to make it to the very top. But there was one season I loved so much that MMPR could've ended after it's excellent finale and I would've been happy with how everything ended. Especially considering the turd Disney laid after.

Power Rangers Mystic Force is my favorite season of Power Rangers ever. By miles.

Yeah. There are other good ones but In Space always brings back the memories from when I was kid. It calls up everything all the way back to MMPR.

Dino Thunder, definitely. I grew up with it and it's stuck with me the most.

I kinda wish there was a "What are you watching" for Power Rangers so people could recap their thoughts on each episode, though.

That would leave the american toku one mostly deserted though.

There are other American Toku shows. Aqua Bats, Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, Super Human Samurai Syber Squad, Masked Rider.

Emphasis on mostly. :lol

I know there are others, they simply aren't watched very often.

With all this legacy stuff coming soon. This brings back great memories. How's these to hype up things. Maybe we can get things from these older series as well. These bring back good memories? Love all the series but I didn't even watch them all yet. I will start to catch up!

In terms of story I loved RPM.

But in terms of a nostalgia feeling I would have to say Lost galaxy or light speed rescue.

I've been thinking about this and I don't think I was right in saying Mystic Force. I enjoyed it the first time but I haven't been able to watch it again, only certain moments like the first Legendary morph in Dark Wish or the finale battle. I think my favorite season would have to be one that I did actually watch more than once. And amazingly that season ends up being Samurai :eyebrow

For Saban? Time Force.

It really was like a precursor to Disney's awesome, taking the core of the original sentai, filling it with original characters and changing the direction of the story at key moments to really make the show your own. Lightspeed rescue was enjoyable, but Time Force was the one Saban season I can claim was truly great.

Disney? This is obviously going to be RPM which is simply the best season of Power Rangers, it just owns in every area. But then as I've said in the past time and time again, I ADORE Disney's run with Jungle Fury being the closest I think Disney got to replicating RPM's awesome (and yes Jungle Fury came before, shuush).

TIME FORCE!

The theme song, the story line, the characters... oh god the characters! What can I say that hasn't been said already? It's a timeless wonder alright. :D

In Space as it was the end of an era. For a few years I wanted to see Zedd and Mondo truly defeated (and I love Zedd) and this season finally gave it to me, a true finale. It was also the final season I bought the toys from and I just semi lost my interest in the show during LG since I had been given my finale. Plus, Beast Wars had taken the championship title away from PR by that point in time. I never fully stopped watching the show, as I did watch pieces of LG and LSR from time to time. I believe I have seen some TF episodes, but I don't remember much about them.

I'm mostly a Super Sentai guy, but I give a try to PR every years. Most of the time I give up after 5 eps or less. Two exceptions : Lightspeed Rescue that I watched 'til mid-season & RPM that was different enough (..& interesting enough) to keep me watching 'til the end.
My vote goes to RPM.

I got to go with Dino Thunder.

RPM is definitely one of my favorites, so was Dino Thunder and Mighty Morphin. I'm loving MegaForce right now too.

Zeo or Mighty Morphin

I'd have to say Season 2 of MMPR, its when they first introduce the most famous ranger villain of all time. I wish that season was longer.

Also, Zeo, Time Force, and Dino Thunder I really enjoyed too!

Zedd is a total badass. Love his design.

Agreed! He was intimidating looking as all hell.

He's one of my favorite in Old Saban-Era.

In Space, mostly because of the nostalgia. I started watching during the second half of Turbo and when they went to space that was really cool to see seasons have stories that continued on and I love the last episode. I re watched that show so many times when I was young...

It'd have to be Mystic Force. I enjoyed the cast, I enjoyed the story, I enjoyed the characters. I loved the Dark Wish movie. And that finale was perfection (Aside from the overfill the baddie that sucks energy trope) But I loved it still.

This is an evergreen topic, hope bumping it a couple months later is good!

I really need to catch up on PR, but I'll vote for Mighty Morphin season 1. Hit when I was in 2nd grade, and it was quite cool. That cast sticks with you.
