The CardFight Vanguard Thread of cardfighting.
 

I didn't see a thread for this and I've wanting to talk to to people here a bout card fight for a while now. Lest the the usual ask questions out the way.
1) favorite clan : mine is Dimension Police
2) favorite/best desks( short ver.) mine are Daiyusha deck, Military dragon deck and a Glalhad deck.
3) favorite character from anime(why not?) right now its Isoda(most likely spelled horribly wrong)

I use a deck of cute/sexy mermaids, the Bermuda triangle.
And my favorite character is Miwa.

I have always been fascinated by Vanguard, not like I have watched much of the anime or even played the game as they aren't sold here, but let's give this a try:

1)Pale Moon, I really like them for some reason.
3)I really like Aichi, he's not an ace like most game anime protagonist, but instead he is a beginner, so when he fights I'm actually concerned whether he'll win or not.

Yeah, from what I've seen Vanguard never really takes itself too seriously. For the most part, there's a very down to earth tone.

I've been wanting to get back into Vanguard myself as for what clans I'll play…most likely Dimensional Police and the Paladins.

I didn't think there was this many Vanguard fans on here. This surprised me.

Both, Daiyusha probably as that's what has the most support in the English format right now. As for Paladins…I'm going to be getting the Gold Paladin deck pretty soon, yes I'm aware that Blaster Liberator's deck comes out in a few months but i can always combine the two.

I like the liberators more than the normal gold palli's anyway. I also like playing my nova grapplers, Time to kick jack into high gear!

Somebody needs to make an online Vanguard like the dueling network is for Yugioh. Since i don't often see people playing Vanguard in public i would play the hell out of that.

I think there's one.

So I've been out of the loop as far as card news goes but I buy some packs today and I had no idea that Nova Grappler made cards that looked like Gundams and other mecha.

Yeah I might have to collect more cards from this clan now. Nova Grappler cards are pretty cheap too which I'm glad about. Scored a Blaster Dark out of one of the packs so I'm pretty happy with that.

There's a Nova Grappler Starter deck if you want it.

Yeah, I saw. I already have enough Nova Grapplers to make a deck from when I kinda went crazy with the stuff last year. I'll have to look at the contents and decide if I wanna go to the deck or continue piecing it together.

9/6 is when a the extra boost containg nothing but nova grapplers cans hits English. It has every ensincal NG in it.

Interesting I'll have to consider getting a box when it comes out but it doesn't come with the Stern or Blau cards though…that's the cards t hat I wanna run.

Also my friend tells me I apparently lucked out big time with Blaster Dark..from what he tells me he's short printed in the english version.

Where do I get these cards in English

The Spiderman card was given out when you went to the that Spiderman movie that came out last year, it never came stateside of course... Now i want to see an english promo pack with official translations of these cards.

They are promo cards available exclusively on Japanese so far.

You know i actually have the most incredible luck with this game, when i open packs of this game i always get tripple and double rares. Yet for te life of me i can't find a Blaster Dark!!

The Spiderman card maybe has a shot, but the GARO card won't due to licensing.

I Checked Ebay and the Garo card is like…30$:(

I'm itching for the dub of Season 3 to come out.

You have no idea how much i want to enter a Vanguard tournament, there's a store 15 minutes from my house that holds them every friday but the car is in use on fridays.

…so far my luck with Vanguard has been pretty good compared to my days of collecting Yugioh.

I bought some more packs today, mostly from Eclipse of Shadows and the first Extra Booster set that came out.

Out of the packs I got, I managed to get one Dark Shield Mac Lir and a Spectral Dark Dragon. My Shadow Paladin deck is slowly coming together, as is my Enigman deck. Not bad, considering that the guy at the counter picked the boosters for me.
