SH Figuarts Armored Tyrannoranger Release Bumped To October
 

The Bluefin/Tamashii Twitter account has confirmed that SH Figuarts Armored TyrannoRanger will be released in October in the United States, a full month ahead of the previously-reported Japanese schedule!

It appears the US buyers have provided a much-needed boost to Figuarts sales with the previous Zyuranger releases and Bluefin probably hopes to keep the profit margins up. :)

Neat. If I'm not broke as hell come October, I'll certainly see if I can get one.
Anything for a possible Armored Black/Mammoth Ranger release.

I hope this early American release doesn't become a trend.

It probably won't, outside of the MMPR figuarts the other figures aren't popular enough to get an early release.

This is BS. I want my Armed sooner too but I'm not getting the US packaging.

Oh don't worry. I have plenty enough patience to not buy the US releases for stuff like this. I want my original packaging and/or original accessories :D

I'm sure this is probably so Bluefin can release it at NYCC. Would go hand-in-hand with the stands they released at SDCC considering one of them was for Armored Red.

Nothing if you don't mind the US packaging. I do as I want the Zyuranger packaging, that's all.

I'm all for this. I don't care about matching packaging. Of course, some release dates for the rest of MMPR/Zyuranger's team would be nice now as well.

I don't really get what you're saying. If that was directed at me, I'm collecting Zyuranger figuarts, not Power Rangers. So I want my packages to match, I don't want PR dedicated packaging. I don't like altered packages for the same reason I don't like it when Bluefin releases have to remove accessories. I'd rather have the Japanese release. Even though it's out earlier I'd rather wait to have the right release for my collection.

Meh, I don't give a crap about the packaging since I am not displaying them unopened. If I was, that would be a different story, but since I'm not, I don't really see why it matters.

No but I prefer Japanese packaging. Again, I don't collect Power Rangers but rather Sentai releases and I'm a bit OCD. So I don't have any interest in having 1 out of 7 Zyuranger releases in a US box.

People likes what they likes so it's no biggie to me what other people wind up with, I just like JP packaging.

I get ya, Den-O! I prefer Zyuranger to MMPR and having one of the 7 Figuarts be in MMPR packaging while the rest are Zyuranger would drive me absolutely crazy.

The packaging is directly catering to MMPR fans, if you prefer Zyuranger, then yes, of course it'd be unwanted to them, just as Zyuranger packaging would be unwanted to MMPR fans.

i couldn't care less about packaging.. plus, i'm American, i speak english, i watched the American show.. so American packaging is perfect for me..

plus, he won't be spending much time in the packaging anyways.

i really wish these were being sold in TRU.. or some other store.

and i also wish ALL of the MMPR releases were bumped way up, i can't wait to finish this collection. i'd REALLY love it if they gave us a lord zedd, goldar, and a king sphinx.. i don' t know why but i always LOVED the look of the sphinx. i know they'll never produce him. but it would still be cool.

I think calling it "BS" is a bit much though. Even if you want Zyuranger packaging its pretty cool that they're able to throw a bone to US buyers like this once in a while.

Yeah, this. It's not like it's pushing back the release of the Japanese version.

Man October is going to be a harsh month. I might just put Armored Red on hold, I already have Kyoryu Red and MMPR White in October.

Is there really going to be anything different aside from the packaging between the two Armored Red Ranger/TyrannoRanger releases?

I know with the regular Red and Green (Tyranno and Dragon) there was the Akibarangers items. Same with the upcoming KibaRanger (White Ranger), but I have not heard of any differences for any others.

Most likely not, there isn't any reason for the Japanese release to have anything Akiba-related.

There are no differences other than packaging.

I'm actually glad to see the USA release get moved a month earlier in its release, as it gives me a possible figure to straight up order without having to wait o3o. Also IDC about packaging as I have JP versions of Knight Survive and Ryu Ranger *I really don't know or care if Knight Survive got a bluefin release* :lol.
