Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills Headed To DVD
1 Attachment(s)
DIC Entertainment's infamous Power Ranger-wannabe series "Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters From Beverly Hills" is finally headed to DVD!
The entire 40 episode series will be available on 4 discs for the very reasonable price of 12.98 USD. |
|
If this was region free, I'd be all over this.
|
40 episodes of... that, for $13.00? Ironically the exact same price that show cost to produce.

I'm pretty sure the whole thing is on YouTube, but you'll need a huge quantity of drugs to appreciate it.

You would have to pay me 12.98 to watch that again. If I thought this sucked as a kid , then it had to be horrid. I am unusually easy to please for a nerd. |
Well if TJ TV of this was anythin to show, then this will give anyone nightmares. Let me knkw when they make Superhuman Syber Squad or Masked Rider. :lol
|
Will buy this have waited a Long time for this to come out. I hope we get a date for when it comes out soon.
|
This should be the surprise entry for Let's Watch Wednesdays. :p
|
If I ever run out of toku to watch, maybe I'll give this a try :lol
|
Why would anyone waste dvd material to make this?
|
I thankfully missed whatever the heck this was. I look forward to seeing it in Dollar Tree for a buck in the coming months.
Not that I'd pay a buck for it either. |
$13 is more than I'd ever pay for this. Heck, I'm not sure I would even take a free copy... :lol
I'm pretty sure the rights owners of this show also own 'Mummies Alive!'. Why can't they put that on DVD? I'd buy it in a heartbeat. |
I wouldn't even watch this pile of crap if it was free :lol

So we lose VR Troopers, but we get THIS... thing?
Oh Sweet Merciful Heaven, WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE THIS?! |

We're being punished :p |
Cool
Looks neat. I think saw this a couple times growing up. I remember the villain from cover. Looks cool. Glad to see Mill Creek releasing some forgotten titles. :)
|
I remember this on sky one never really watched it but this is what you get when crossing sentai and ultraman

You know its a bad tokusatsu when I can go into any game with a create a character, any game, and make any one of the lead characters in their superhero costumes in about 3 minutes,if that.
This is what happens when someone from Hollywood in the nineties on a yoga kick tries to make an american version of Ultraman after having just watched Power Rangers. Oh god...and just how could I forget this. Thanks for bringing up this memory. http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=H.4681644335563491&pid=1.7 K,enough bashing the show.Honestly it should've been less,or a different series. The series didn't do well at all,and it's mostly cause some random company tried to cash in on the whole teenage superhero thing while it was hot. |
The only thing Millcreek has put out on DVD that I cared for is the infinitely more awesome Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century :D
|
Never heard of it, and I wished it had remained that way. Anything with Beverly Hills in its name is terrible.
|
All I know about Millcreek is that the quality of their sets is usually pretty poor, apparently. But as I'm from the UK I have no real way to prove that.
|
It is sad and almost amazing that this series could have marked a possible new launch for Ultraman in the US - this was supposed to be an Andro Melos adaptation - until Tsuburaya realized what was going on and put a stop to it. :p I wonder if anyone's attempted to replace the atrocious giant fights with corresponding Andro Melos footage. I'd watch an episode that looked like that... exactly once and never again. :lol

I heard it was easy enough to get around...unless you have my brand of DVDdrive, then it's hopeless.

I want to eventually get myself a decent HD-TV and Bluray player, so it can wait.

Nah, I don't own the set. There are very few Blu-Rays I own because despite being 2013 I don't own a Blu-Ray player. :lol Daimajin wasn't one I felt a rush to own or feared for its future availability, unlike Destroy All Monsters... dodged a massive bullet there!
Anyway, everything I've heard of the Daimajin set is good news. Best US release the films have ever gotten. |
this is the first I am hearin of this and I must ask....are the tatood teenagers from Beverly Hills? Or are the Aliens they fight from Beverly Hills?

Never heard of it before today, so I looked it up on Wikipedia. I wish I hadn't. It sounds horrible.
