Is megaforce and super megaforce the same?
 

Hi sorry I'm new here. I was a huge ranger fans back a few years but left to collect other lines. I stop after light speed which I loved so much. Now I need to catch up a lot. I keep seeing mega force and super megaforce. Is the the same team? Or is it 2 different series? Thanks

It's the same team. Saban recently got the rights to the show back, and starting with Samurai (the adaption of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger), they're splitting each series into different series. So there was Samurai, and then Super Samurai. They're doing the same thing with Megaforce. We have Megaforce, which is the adaption of Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and soon Super Megaforce, the adaption of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.

Nothing will be different outside of new costumes, new villains, new zords, and one new ranger. Everything else will be the same.

They are two seasons of the same show the same characters but different suits, megazords, and enemies.

Like season 1 of MMPR compared to season 2.

mmpr got 3 seasons base on zyuranger and dairanger and kakuranger

Well none of the recent seasons really go together. Imagine if they do this after Megaforce, and we go from high tech spies, to dancing dinosaurs?

Hopefully, we stop with all this "Super" bullshit and just have one season that doesn't have 8 multi-month breaks when Super Megaforce ends...

Ah I see so it's the same team just split into 2 series. Makes sense! Where are they in this series now? Are the super mega force series showing on tv now? I just started watching mega force on YouTube 2 days ago. I kind of like it. The lines are cheesy but come on! It's meant for kids and it brings back so many great memories for us who enjoyed these shows as well as collecting them. I'm very excited to get back into power rangers again. My collectio before was massive. Lol until I sold them all away :( I'm now getting into the members of this new team. Takes a little getting used to. My favorites so far is all the early teams. I didn't like samurai too much. But this new team seems very fun to watch!

IIRC, Super Megaforce doesn't start till next year.

No. SPD had awful scheduling, and it still aired 40+ episodes within a year.
Megaforce is transcending just "Awful scheduling" and it's reached a much higher plain.

Lol, great then I'm not too far behind! I keep hearing things about super megaforce, Tommy, bulk and skull? So I'm guessing they will be in the super megaforce? I just saw episode 3 tonight. Not bad, it was funny, action, and overall just plain fun to watch! Love power rangers!
