S.H.Figuarts Garren & Red Rhombus, Plus Web Exclusive Psyga!
 

Super Sentai Figuarts aren't the only new reveals in the latest release of Figure-Oh magazine scans!

First up is the third retail release in the S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade series, Kamen Rider Garren & Red Rhombus! Set for release in January and retailing for 8400 yen, this set marks the first time a Figuarts Rider is bundled together with his bike. For the time being, there is no known way to purchase either Garren or Red Rhombus separately.

Next, one step closer to completing the Kamen Rider 555 Riders, we have Kamen Rider Psyga as a Tamashii Web release in February 2014 for 4200 yen. The English-speaking Rider from the Paradise Lost film is complete with his Flying Attacker, Tonfa Edges, and other gear.

Thankfully, all the Garren fans out there will be able to seek him out from the usual Japanese retailers and presumably Bluefin-supplied retailers in North America, but Psyga fans will need to contact the middleman service of their choice once the Tamashii Web listing opens!

I always liked Psyga, now that's one figuarts that I need to get. :D

I actually didn't much care for Psyga, the backpack just doesn't work for me. But I plan to go all in with Faiz at some point. Why not now?

Garren is a web exclusive... Tachibana continues to be as unlucky as ever.

Garren and Red Rhombus set will be released @ 8400 yen, tax inclusive January 2014 in mass release. Preorder him at AmiAmi/HLJ/Hobbysearch/Amazon etc. There will be no individual Garren/Red Rhombus release.

Yay for regular release Garren, not so yay for the fact that he's only available with Red Rhomubs.
Assuming Chalice and Leangle get similar releases, then I'll end up getting only Blade.

So neither of these interest me, but Garren does look cool. I guess Ill find out how bad I want Blade SHFs when we start the new LWW. :lol

I very much doubt they'd offer them separately at all since this is being solicited as a 2-pack. I've never seen an SHF 2-pack split up for a second release before.

But come on how can't you want a sweet bike too? I wish all riders were packed this way so I'd be saved the trouble of tracking down vehicles. I snag the bike and the character simultaneously. I'm gonna get both anyway so why not score them at one time?

Yeah I doubt it too, its just wishful thinking on my part :lol

And because I'm yet to jump on a bike full stop yet, so Garren's isn't really my first port of call. The problem is if I'm hestitant to buy this I'm worried it'll end up the same way Blade's figuart did.

For those that dont want a bike, I am guessing that is why they hope for a seperate release. Even if I wanted Garren, I probably wouldnt want the bike. I just dont really care for the bikes for my figures. Unless it is a character I REALLY love like OOO or Den-O, I honestly wont care if it has a bike, and dont want to pay twice as much for something if I dont have to.

I just don't want to spend an extra $40 on a bike I won't ever display. The only Kamen Rider bikes I ever wanted were the original Cyclone(have it), the Battle Hopper(on order), Acrobatter(probably being reissued as well), Machine Massigler(have it), and Machine Winger(waiting for it to go on sale).

At least since this will be so pricey, for a relatively minor character, the Bluefin version on Amazon will likely be clearanced soon enough after release.

For me it's just that they're Kamen Riders. What's the point of having the rider when you never actually have the bike they ride? I get that they're fantastic figures individually but I want the whole package. It kills me to look at my shelf and have a ton a of riders that don't even have bikes released yet. This saves me a lot of trouble.

I'm sure that would bother me more if most of them used the bikes regularly :lol

I was already on the fence on Garren, but coming with his bike for $85 ensures I won't be picking him up. (Unless I find him for cheap later on...)

The "rider" part of "Kamen Rider" has been kind of superfluous for like ten years now at least.

True the bikes are interregnal to to a Kamen Rider and all but personally I've never really been blown away by the Figuarts bikes given that they're usually more expensive then a typical figure that and how often are they used in the shows anyway? Hell, Sentai has been using bikes more often then Rider lately. As they are…Bikes are pretty much expensive accessory pieces

True enough but for me it still matters.
The first few actual figuarts bikes, that weren't reissues from other lines like the Tornador and Guard Chaser, were subpar. Looking at Decader and Hardboilder, and Massigler wasn't amazing. But Machine Winger is gorgeous and very well made. I just feel like if I'm going to own a character I want to OWN that character and everything else I possibly can that they have or use. It's like a dream come true for me to see a Rider/bike 2-pack.

Regardless of how often or not an accessory is used it irks me when I can't have them.

I understand your point, an it's awesome that they made the Blade bikes from the start since they were used really often in the show.

But for me 80 bucks for one character is way overbudget, I could get half of Ultimate Force Zero for that...

Yeah, it'd be one thing if they used their bikes constantly in fights and shit, but they don't.

Also look more Figuarts revealed that AREN'T WING FORM.

I said third retail release. King Form is an exclusive. First at retail was Blade, second is Blue Spader.

I read the original post back when Garren was listed as an exclusive so I didn't see that part. My bad. :p

What does Saga even look like? He's so demanded and I have no idea who/what it is.
