2014 Sentai Name Confirmed: Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger!
 

well, after several rumors, we finally have the namefor the next installment in the Super Sentai series will be Ressha Sentai Tokkyuger!

Going off this name, we can deduce that the next Super Sentai series will be based off Trains!

We're barely halfway through Kyoryuger and we already have this? Dang. With trains I wonder what the gimmick is gonna be?

Looks like Den-O can finally have a sentai to pal around with too! This works for me on so very many levels. The train robots of the past need some modern brothers!

Your posts keep getting weirder and weirder. But I'm enjoying it :lol Den's right though, and so are you. We've had animals now for a long time. Alot of animals, anyway. We've had Boukenger, and Gokaiger (Even though Gokai Silver used a Dino-Drill-Spaceship). But we've had Shinkenger, Goseiger, Kyoryuger, all with animals. So it's nice getting vehicles. And nicer getting Trains.

Go-Busters combined the two gloriously.

I want another show with individual mechs modes, but with trains it's probably not gonna happen. It's a fair trade-off. :lol

Johns right. Mecha Train Sex or MTS is an essential part of the Tokunation infrastructure :) For the next year we will have trains, and it shall be glorious. Finally Grand Liner has someone to hang out with!

Meh, I vastly prefer animals for Sentai usually. I know mixing it up is good, but I'll probably skip this toyline outside of the henshin device, main mecha and Figuarts.

I dont mind trains,heck I think it'll be cool.I just have my reserves.1.Will they just get around on tracks? Or will they have some sort of system like the Den Liner,where the track appears where it needs too? 2.How will the trains be different from each other? I'm hoping they're not just color difference,but style.One a Diesel,One steam,Bullet,etc. 3,and the biggest one of all,I'm hoping it actually is trains.For the past 2 or 3 seasons,we've heard the same thing.I'm just saying,I'll believe it when I see it.

Whats the name mean, anyway?

"The title Ressha is a pun on the Japanese word ressha, which means train using the kanji characters for 烈車 vehement car instead of the usual 列車 line car. While Tokkyu means limited express train."
