I haven't seen it yet, but according to the next preview, Yayoi will also appear in ep. 33- does that mean she will finally become a permanent member of the Kyoryugers?

But she and Torin are definitely being more active than before. Fun episode, Futsal + Basket + Sentai = Weirdest sports ever. The Deboss were really fun too. Next episode a Ian + Utchy episode! Yay! |
Not the best episode of the season, that was Goth Cande obviously, but it wasn't bad. They learned more about each other, they used more than one combination, Yayoi returned. The only problem was the Sports Monster. I don't like those episodes of anything :lol Power Rangers, Kamen Rider, or Super Sentai. They do nothing for me.
And Hey! Aigaron! Stop making Lady Candilera cry or Imma beat yer clockwork ass! |
It was okay. *Shrugs*
Not really much else to say. |
Well, today I learned that the proper name for 5-a-side is Futsal.
For a fillery episode I quite enjoyed this one. But it severely lacked Michael Jordan. |
Well, this was....interesting. Not as Juicy as Gaim though. And I feel like the Victory battery is overkill compared to the 22 plus batteries they have, Carnival, and everything else. But hey, we get another poke-stone.
Oh well, we learned a little more about sports in Japan. Definitely a more comical episode considering Dogold and Aigaron's roles. |
I liked this episode and all but I only rated average because it is average for this show, which isn't bad or any thing.
|
I guess I'm disappointed because I was expecting a basketball game, but they couldn't train the actors in basketball in time so they just shrugged and made the villain generically evil, like usual.
|
If Utchy's American counterpart is not a basketball player when this is adapted into Power Rangers, I may very well have a fit.
Really, it is a bit strange that Utchy doesn't really interact with the rest of the team as much as previous Sixth Rangers. |
In the spirit of this episode, someone should replace the ending theme with some Space Jammy music.
This episode was completely fine. I don't really get the whole switching up team members' roles thing. Next episode is Ian and Utchi. Yaaaaaaaay. |
What do you mean you don't get it? The episode made it crystal clear that the point was to show that having one dominant skill doesn't mean they can't do anything else.
Oh, and I'm really glad they didn't demote Amy to cheerleader. Thank god. |
I noticed something in this, Yayoi mentioned they needed Carnival to Brave In Victory... Yet they wondered why it didnt work... :lol

Enjoyed this episode a lot. The show is moving away from Daigo centric storylines and focus more on the team as a whole. The emphasis on teamwork and uncovering each individual's hidden talent is a nice message. The return of Yayoi is also very nice. I'd like her to be more than just a researcher and a supporting character though, because this team can have 7 members and still not feel bogged down. Looking forward to episode focusing on Ian and Utchy next week.
BTW it's nice to have the cast of Gaim dancing at the EC. Still waiting for the subbed version of EP1 though. |

And when I said I didn't get it I meant that it did not make sense to my brain. A team is best when the teammates do the thing that they're best at. Sure it's good to have other skills, but when you're going to play a life or death basketball game, now may not be the best time to practice said skills. But that was all moot anyway since they just fought with swords and guns and bureibu. |
I enjoyed this episode. It was nice to finally see Yayoi finally suit up and "fight" with them again! Hope she becomes more active in future episodes. Also Utchy's act at the end of the episode gave me a chuckle. He just wanted to play too! Haha. He's slowly becoming my favourite along with Yayoi.

And yes, a team works best when they're performing what they're good at, but the purpose was to show their skills. Relying on Nossan to guard and only guard would've never let them find out he was a good dunker, for example. In the end, yeah, it turned into a straight fight, but growing as a team means you need to know more than just the one prominent skill they possess. |
It was a good episode I still don't get Aigaron's other side he is either sad ore angry Dogold is Anger. Soccer vs Basketball that was awesome. I thinkKing should Give Carnival a rest he uses it to much
