This was inspired (Shamelessly ripped off) by the favourite ranger thread, but this is to talk about your favourite megazord designs over they 20 years PR has been around.

I think the MMPR Thunder Megazord was one of the best looking Megazords. I wish I owned it as a kid :lol

I did own it has a kid, and you are right :lol Thunder Megazord wins. Hands down.

Shogun Megazord for sure. That thing is a beauty.

As far as Megazords go... I would have to agree with Kickback and say the MMPR Thunder Megazord is my favorite. Though the big train one frome Lightspeed Rescue is probably a close second for me. In it's case, it's the first and only real Megazord I ever had (kinda wish I knew what happened to it). My Dino Megazord was the remote control version, and I never did have any of the Thunderzords.

While not the Megazord itself, the stock shot of the red dragon Thunderzord flying is, for me, one of the most iconic Power Ranger shots/images. Which is why I love the Megaforce red dragon Mechazords stock flying shot. I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but it definitely looks a lot like the old Thunderzord flying.

Magiking/Titan Megazord and Gokaioh/Legendary Megazord.

Honourable mention to Senpuujin/Hurricane Megazord, Dairenoh/Thunder Megazord and Time Robo/Time Force Megazord too.

Astro Delta Megazord. Take a decent spaceship Megazord, combine it with a mediocre spaceship Megazord, and you get the perfect combination of robot and shoulder cannons.

i always loved the shogun megazord.

I find it sad that they shyed away recently from designs like the Shogun and the Thunder and even Megaship 1 in recent years. Sometimes a slick streamlinedMegazord makes sense like with Geki/Jungle Fury. But I miss a big armored mehemoth.

I agree 100% with both Kickback and ZeoRangerV on both the MMPR Thunder and Shogun Megazords.

I also love the original Dino Ultrazord, the Lightspeed Rescue Supertrain Megazord, Ninja Storm Hurricane Megazord, Operation Overdrive Drivemax Ultrazord and Battlefleet Megazord and Samurai Gigazord.

And I know it's a bad guy Zord, but I also like Serpentera.

The Dino Megazord will always be my fave, but I've always really liked Pyrimidas I believe? Name escapes me at the moment. Best part of Zeo though.

Funnily enough, I hated the Shogun Megazord, because it pretty much removed my personal favorite, the Ninja Megazord, from the series.
Which is hilarious, because apparently in Kakuranger, the Ninja Megazord, Kakure Daishogun, was the stronger of the two :lol

Awesome! That dude was great. Made me watch the Sentai version for that reason alone.

Limiting it to just one Megazord is hard, but I guess I'll go for RPM High Octane Megazord. It was the first Megazord since the MMPR ones to catch my attention since I got back into Tokusatsu through Power Rangers RPM. There's a degree of attachment there.

For me it was the original wild force megazord

This thread makes me hope that in a series soon we see the return of the CarrierZord/Mecha. A really good one like Titanus/King Brachion.

Thunder Megazord was pretty cool, though I recall having such a pain in the butttime keeping the Firebird Zord on it's waist when combined for some reason.

Honestly, the Zords from all three seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers were awesome. I recall them obviously a lot more than the shows afterwards even though I saw most of the shows in full. Something about the original Dino, Thunder, Shogun, and Ninja Megazords that later Zords just didn't have.

Mine will have to be thunder megazord from MMPR due to the fact that it was my first megazord as a kid and I still have it near 99% complete just missing the second half of reds bow staff and it still in good condition has not suffered from breaking ether

Wildforce Megazord, or Animus if he counts. (even if the character was utterly awful)

Other favourites include the Zeo Megazord, whatever the bettle Megazord from Ninja Storm was, and Supertrain Megazord.

Main: Zeo,Dino,Wild Force,Lost Galaxy,Gosei Great,Samurai and Jungle Master

Secondary: Red Battlezord,White Tiger Warrior,Predazord,Defender Torzord and Gosei Grand.

Dragonzord in battle mode. Loved the staff of death!

WildForce Megazord and Wolf Pride Megazord.

I'd want to say Dragonzord, but I think I'd have to pick one of the megazords that's survived and I still have till this day…

Quite possibly it would be the Astro Megazord, I loved how stream line the design was compared to more traditional sentai mecha

Samurai Megazord, WE ARE UNITED!

Predazord Megazord easily, with only the Thunder Megazord close to beating it.

Its hard to say but I'd have to agree with Kiryu, the Draongzord is still my favorite zord of all time. But, In second place is "Pyramidas" the gold zeo ranger zord, because its so epically badass lol. I know those aren't really Megazords, so I guess my favorite would have to be the Thunder Megazord.

Im gonna have to go with the astro megazord, with the turbo megazord as a close second.

Loving the redone helmet/neck

Ok, I thought quite a long time on this. Among all the Megazords in my collection, I have to say that Gokaioh is my favourite (that counts, right? Since Super Megaforce is coming?). I love its size, its assortment of colors and the core pirate ship is possibly my single favourite Zord since the Astro Megaship. It may have flaws, but it's the most imposing on the shelf and I love it.

I would go with the Ninja Storm Megazord. That megazord is such a beauty. Love the look of the robo! Especially the rest of the Ninja Storm mecha. They had some pretty good looking megazords.

Thundersaurus Megazord. So badass looking, awesome transformation, I like some of the arm swaps and that roar and music playing when it does the midair CGI drill pose. OMG that brings me so much nostalgia.

I would say Dino Thunder Megazord, Dragonzord and the Super Megaforce Megazord as my top three Megazords. The two main things I like best about the Dino Thunder Megazord is how fast and sweet the combination sequence goes, it feels like a fast paced transformer combiner forming. Also the drill arm is freaking sweet.

the mega voyager and mega winger were always my two favorite designs, loved the toys too.

Gosei Great, something about it's design really speaks to me.

Battle Fever Robo.

The Dino Megazord. Aside from being my first megazord it had the greatest transformation music as well

Mine is the super train megazord! Loved that series and the train taking off was so epic!
