S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms Prototype
1 Attachment(s)
It may seem a bit early but an image of a prototype S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Gaim Orange Arms has been discovered on 2chan! It will apparently be on display to the public at Tamashii Nations 2013 this November 1-3!
We'll bring you more details as they become available about the future release of this figure! |
My guess is the Head looks bigger than it should because it's unpainted. Still absolutely love him.
|
Possibly the quickest turn around for any Kamen Rider Figuart of a currently airing show ever.
it might seem strange, but remember that we had a month long gap for development. |
Gaim goes at full pace even in SHF form.
Looks great, then again I think everybody expected that. |

The figure looks gorgeous. Now to wait to see it painted... |
It really does look excellent. This is the first time in years that I haven't noticed a glaring problem with the new rider figuart.
|
Looking closer at the shoulder design for a minute, I wonder if the orange armor can actually transform and come off of the toy, or if it's just reaaaaaaally dedicated/super detailed sculpting job... either way, I adore the Blade body type and I'm adoring Gaim so far so I might as well go for this...

I'm allowed thinking it looks a little big :lol
|
It looks JUICY

As a helmet? Not really. The thing is that Gaim is seemingly going for less stylized and more sho accurate proportions. |
I noticed most Figuarts these days seem to be going for more show accuracy. Look at the Kabuto renewal, Shining Agito and renewal Black.

Some figuarts are a a bit too thin. The new aesthetic may take some time to get used to, but I think it's worth it. |
This figure is a thing of beauty and while i don't expect the armor to be removable it does almost look like it could be. But that could just be some killer sculpting. I think I'm fine with it either, the damn thing is gorgeous.

The head looks a little big, and something about the shoulder armor just seems weird to me in S.H. form. But those are just nitpicks, and for a prototype no less. All around, it looks great.

http://i.qkme.me/3tm1ks.jpg I want it!
|
Awesome! I want to see a SHF of Zangetsu.
|
Wonderful, can't wait to own him!
Now let's see...Wizard went up for preorder roughly this time last year and came out in Feb. Bandai previewed their Feb offerings up yesterday, so here's hoping this is a late extra they wanted to save for unveiling at the Tamashii event. |
I like the way Gaim looks, but I don't really want a bunch of fruit samurai on my shelf. If I get one I'll get the rest and I really don't want to do that.
|
Oh man he looks great! He is not using the drop down hips which I hate so that is even better!
|
Wow. Even unpainted it's a thing of beauty. I will be ordering the heck out of him. :D
|
I know I will want Gaim, but I don't think I will be getting all completist on this show. I get the feeling that almost everything will be a web exclusive and with 678 riders possibly happening this year, I think I'll pass. Although I may end up with Zangetsu.
|
So anyone else wondering how the lock seeds are gonna work? We are talking SHF here, theyll make them removeable, will we see changeble belts like Wizad? Or tiny lock seeds for the different attacks ala Fourzes Astro Switches?
|
The sculpt looks real swell but the proportions feel a little off. It seems as if the legs are almost too short, forcing the head to feel on the big side. It might be a trick of the camera angle though. The armour looks sharp, looking forward to it. Bring on Banana man

So...SHF or Change Arms? |
Infinity Wizard is the worst offender when it comes to Figuarts Big Head Syndrome. Then it didn't help the head sculpt looked like a damn ring pop to start with.
|
It looks like a fantastically accurate figuart of Gaim's design.
It's the "Gaim's design" part I find fault with. Not even figuarts can make me like those shoulderpads. |

Woo! I cannot wait for this!
|
Was wondering when we were gonna see this thing. Looks good, can't wait to see the finished version.
..haha, can't believe I ended up on the Gaim bandwagon, so glad that the show has managed to deliver so far considering how low my hopes had sunk. |
The armor looks removable to me. It might not me able to fold up into a nice little orange, but I think it'll be removable nonetheless. Which is kinda disappointing.
|
So glad they're using the new hip joints on these guys. :D

How-wha-I-huh? |

Which is kind of a moot point. When, WHEN did a Tamashii Nations product transform that cost'd less than 200 dollars? |
Whether the armor is removable or not is not the selling point of this figure for me. It looks excellent regardless of that ability. I won't expect it's armor to transform anymore than I would have expected OOO figuarts to separate into 3 pieces to part swap, or W figures to split in half to change. If I want those things I can buy OCC or W Form Change. And in this case I can get the Arm Change figures if I want a fully transformable Gaim. If it can transform it'll be an added bonus, but I will own the orange samurai regardless.
|
He looks fantastic. Don't like how the shoulderpads jut out on the suit, don't like it here. The helmet is rad though, and the proportions are solid. Here's to him being taller than Wizard and Fourze were.
