Kyoryuger DX Bragigas, First In Hand Review!
 

Courtesy of the man himself wotakufighter2121 of youtube we have our first first in hand video review of the DX Kamitsuki Henkei Bragigas!

Demonstrated here is the massive beast in Brachiosaur mode. It features a Zyudenchi compartment capable of storing all 13 of the Guardians in it! In Gigant Bragi-Oh robot mode this figure appears to be a head or so taller than Kyoryuzin. And although not featured in either of these videos Bragigas can also be combined with the 5 main Zyudenryu to form Gigant Kyoryuzin!

I really can't wait till I have this masterpiece sitting on my shelf. I'm a little sad that this is the final mech of the kyoryuger line. I want more!

Why is it I get a very 'Dinobot' vibe from this guy? Seriously, he has the exact same color scheme as the G1 Transformers Dinobots.

I still want to know how badly this can affect the already-weak Kyoryujin clips.

I had high hopes for this thing, it looks so badass!

Actually in the review Wotkau even says it resembles a dinobot :lol

Well, shit. I have zero interest in this Sentai/Power Rangers offering, but he's so damn awesome it hurts.

Man. I love Bragigas on his own, but the final combined toy kind of underwhelms me. It really is the definition of just sticking parts every where so they "have a place" :( I was probably just going to display it as Bragi-Oh anyway but the final combo just isn't as pleasing as the show suit makes it look.

I agree 100%, really underwhelming.
Just imagine what it could have been like if it included ALL the jyudenryu. A massive brick that weighs 80 pounds!

Ugh I'm so tempted to buy it but I'm thinking of selling all the extra mechas in my collection and just keeping the main.

There's only one thing to say.

Oh. My.

No, sir, I don't like it. That giant backpack.. sheesh. Also those 2 hideous parts that had no where else to go on Bragigas only being used to form some awkward shoulder cannon mount in this form. All the combos in this line have been meh, with only Plezuon getting close to interesting. Also I think this line ties with Goseiger for having the least effort in "transforming" the mecha from stand-alone to mecha to combined mecha.

The one thing I will give it is that at least Bragigas has lots of different variances in the sounds it can play through its different forms, even if it can't detect what Jyuudenchi is plugged into it.

Glad I stuck with minipla. The individual mecha have decent looks to them, but the DXes would've been a waste of money and space to me... 'cept maybe Kyoryujin Dark Ver.

Kyoryuzin itself (and Spinodaioh) are a great set. Big bulky dinosaur robot, lot of weight to it, fun electronics, etc. PteraidenOh I found to be lackluster, kind of plain with very awkward proportions. Though Raiden Kyoryuzin is a pretty cool combo. Loved Plezuon and it's combo. And Bragigas as an individual piece is lovely. But Gigant Kyoryuzin is just so thrown together.

And I reject the comment that Goseiger stuff doesn't transform enough either. That's by far my favorite DX Sentai line since Boukenger.

The HLJ Preorder that I literally placed the DAY THEY OPENED for Bragigas, now says DISCONTINUED?!?

Are you fucking kidding me? This is why they're a joke. Why they are 100% unreliable and why I refuse to use them. HLJ is a bunch of morons who apparently don't know how to figure out how many toys they're gonna get, ever. This is utter bullshit.

Thats what happened to me with my sengoku driver. HLJ preorders are a frickin joke.

I still dig it on its own, but dat combo is very errr... Yeah...

I definitely think bakuretsu kyoryujin is the most interesting combo, and unlike Plezuoh who I just needed to own instantly, I'll get bragigas at some point but I'll definitely be happy with the minipla for now.

I like Bragigas quite a bid and Gigant Bragioh looks boss. The Kyoryuzin combo on the other hand is really ugly.

Any news on that "cosomic kyrujin that people were talking about. According to sources kryujin could combine with predeoh and plusuon and ride on top of braggas while the other smaller aux mechs could attch to the legs of braggas for a big pegusus like finisher.

I don't remember much of that, but there is this fan picture based on descriptions.

Not that there would be any room for it on that Monstrosity.

i dont understand why did they made a whole new helmet with kyoryujin's face and not just make it a helmet with a face plate? is it because to make it bigger to stand out, since it's a big mecha?

Its slightly larger, so they might have done it so that the face is more proportionate to the rest of Gigant Kyoryujin.

i dont see a kyoryuger toy thread i think i should post it here, it seems like the trend for 4th quarter merchandise, it's always been the downside of series as part of the show and the toys, i just dont understand why they dont extend it? i know that a new series is coming out but i feel bandai and toei should somehow extend the toyline towards the end of show so it can get more excitement.
