Armor Hero 5th Year Anniversary
 

This weekend at Grandview Mall, Guangzhou, China, there will be a "Armor Hero 5th Year Anniversary" event!

On display, there will be actual suits(as seen in show), design works(some by me), unproduced prototypes, as well as sneak peek to the upcoming series: Armor Hero LAVA.

Is the Armor Hero franchise any good? I've heard some mentions of it before, but not really any opinions, and that trailer looked awesome. Bima was of a similar vein, it seems, and I enjoyed that show but the rips were of such terrible quality I had to drop it, I see the Armor Hero rips are of much better quality.

I really wish I could get my hands on some of the Armored Hero toys. Love to do some reviews of them for the anniversary.

WOW. Those look great! Very SH Figuarts-esque. They look like pretty quality figures. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll be able to find some of them.

Now the suits.

The first armor of the 1st generation: 炎龙侠 Dragon-man

Generation 1 is the only series ever exported so far (to Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia). And the only series subtitled by Doremi I believe?

It is a miracle that they could recover one copy, although with multiple damages.

The ultimate armor from generation 1: 帝皇侠 Emperor

Had its own movie in 2010, which was a surprisingly good production.
Decent storytelling, AWESOME action sequences, loads of actual oil explosions.

The gold paints decayed, not shiny as it used to. The "crystal" medals on the belt lost their colors.

Second generation, the final upgraded form of 刑天 Armor Hero XT (or Mars).

Production was not as good as the 2010 movie, yet much better than G1. Although the leading actor was not so well on acting...

This suit could looked worse. It went through some repairs before showing up here. You can still see the sunken spot on the right of his chest.

I love the suits and designs of this show, did anyone sub the second series?

Second generation, the first villain armor, the final opponent of 刑天XT: Armor Hero Sura (or Ares)

The one I personally designed, you can see that belt kinda looks like the Matrix of Leadership.

There was gonna be a movie for him(as a good guy), yet canceled for multiple reasons.

Third generation, LAVA.

This time, all armors are based on elements of fire (Lava), wind (Tornado), water (Tsunami), earth (Cliff) and aether (movie character).
TV series will air this December, and a movie next year.

Yes, there surely will be a movie this time.
The filming was already completed; It is now in post-production.

You might notice the lock on the side of his head.
This helmet was for roadshow, but the rest is for shooting.
The belt is fully functional: turn the key can trigger spinning and lights.

I want a toy of this singed by you now.

Do... do those effects come with them?

No joke I need some of those figures. If anyone knows how to get any of the vaguely figuarts styled figures of the heroes then please let me know. They look amazing.

11.11?..They are being released next week?! I thought it's gonna be next month.

FYI: while vaguely SHFiguart-styled, they have soft plastic limbs and heads.

I find the first TV series is a bit boring, love the designs though, but the Armor Hero Emperor movie is so much better. Still not watch anything from the second series other than some clips in Youtube.

Yeah I checked out the first episode and there was pretty much no suit action minus a short dream flashback sequence thing.

Do I need to have finished the series to watch Emperor Hero?

Looks nice. I saw the first series not too long ago. It had a few creaky hinges but all in all was not that bad.

I think most people use http://www.taobaoring.com/, unless you have someone in China to order the stuff for you.

Oh wow, those suit designs are awesome! What country is this show from? China? And then distributed elsewhere?
