The Utopia Dopant's Last Words in Kamen Rider W (Spoilers Duh)
"You want me... to count my sins...? Then, is it a sin... to love...?"
Rather poetic final words don't you think? But I've been thinking, what did Jun Kazu aka the Utopia Dopant exactly mean by that when he said it? His sins/crimes (however you choose to translate it) where rather clear weren't they? That's when I got to thinking, sure, Jun being the technical final enemy in Kamen Rider W sure raised a lot of hell in his time on screen, but he didn't exactly do it because "evil." There were motives behind most his actions for the most part. His main goal was completing the plan that Ryubee had already set in motion and he only went after the riders only after they attacked him and took Wakana from him. Now why would he enact a plan that wasn't his to begin with? Well, it's rather simple. It was his "love" for Saeko Sonozaki. Think about it, who allowed the riders to get away from Jun? Saeko. Who did Jun trust enough to let his guard down? Saeko. Where am I going with this? Well, it's my belief that Jun put more weight on the reason behind an action rather than the action itself. When W told him to "Count up his crimes," Jun took it as "Tell me the reasons for said crimes," and when Jun said "is it a sin to love someone?" that was him saying "I did it out of love." What do you guys think? Is there another side of Jun that we don't know about, or am I just pulling stuff out of my ass? Let me know below. :D |
Sounds like a reason to make W sound even more awesome then it was :lol

But dang, that took some thought if they meant for that from Utopia... |

Yes but it is a great thought, which gets me thinking- "Bandai, where the hell is Utopia SHF?" |

What the hell Bandai? |
That's how I saw it too, adds more depth to the character.
And keep asking for utopia and a certain Saga gif will appear... |
I don't want to sound like a prick, but wasn't this fairly clear? I had figured this wasn't a "What if" moment, but just confirming what had simply been implied up to that point.

I wouldnt even restrict that line to Saeko but humankind itself. Kazu did all those horrible things to humans because he "loved" them and in his eyes he was doing them a favor by enslaving them. He was building a "Utopia" where everyone lived at peace under his control.

Circumstance I: Someone mentions the Saga Figuart. Circumstance II: Someone mentions the Saga gif. Circumstance III: All of the above. This is, however, a Circumstance II. http://fc05.deviantart.net/fs71/f/20...th-d6j0zji.gif |

I could mention the Rio and Mele SHFs and the gif would still be posted. :I |

I really liked Utopia, and yeah, that was a great final line.

I wasn't a big fan of Ryubei/Terror. I was a much bigger fan of Utopia, too, and I loved Double. |
I liked Ryubei, I didn't like Terror.
If that makes sense. He was cooler when he wasn't a dopant. When he was a father, a plotter, he was cool. But as a Dopant he had a big hat and blue version of the slime from Ghostbusters 2. He had a great death, though, again thanks to him not being a dopant when it happened. Utopia was a much better dopant. He looked incredible, too. |
