Jason David Frank revealed on his Facebook fan pages that he is "Working on the green ranger movie trailer with Bat in The Sun!! Wait till you see it!!

Is this the reason why Jason has refused to be a part of the MMPR Fan film? What sort of deals did he reach with Saban? Stay tuned for more news as it develops.

BITS is an independent film company. They've made great short films in the past based on Batman. Seriously, their stuff is amazing.

I'm very curious to see how they will change the suit a bit, that is IF they do change it. Anyways very interested to see how this will turn out now, JDF really seems to be enjoying being the Green Ranger again.

I'm really happy about this! I really love Bat in the Sun! Of course, since they focus on fan films, I'm pretty sure Saban hasn't signed anything at all.

Indie group and YouTube eh? Well, that quells the fear of someone sending this to the theaters and the project being a box office bomb that embarresses everyone involved.

I know right? It's like "God this movie is so unneeded." But then you see it's Bat in the Sun and it's like "Dammit movie, now I have to watch you."

I'd rather see a film with some purpose to it. Like making the legend war a movie instead of a 2-3 episode ending.

Regarding that MMPR fan film. If it's that one with those terrible black suits, I'm glad. I really don't like the style those guys are going for.

Meh. If it happens it does, if not, we'll hear people ask him about for another few years and nothing else will happen. If anything, he'll show the trailer at the cons he will be at the next few months... (I say that hoping he starts in March :lol)

Definitely see this as something similar to what MK Legacy is doing for that franchise. Generating interest and seeing if the general audience will want to see this and not just fan boys.

Yeah, I'm thinking that too. I'm still surprised more has come of it then JDF just talking about it though.

This is amazing news to come out on Halloween. I had feeling JDF would drop something special for fans. Looking very much to seeing this project progress. I hope we get a movie. Can't wait to see monster Green Ranger faces! haha
