kakuranger is best

I think Kakuranger would kill the Hurricanegers

Kakuranger by a mile. Better uniforms, better meka, better baddies, and evil ninja babes. No contest.

I've not watched either series (but if any of you know where to find subbed Kakuranger please direct them my way), but although I prefer Hurricaneger's uniforms, Kakuranger intrigues me as a whole. I love the mecha, the team dynamics and Ninjaman. Plus, the theme song is ridiculously catchy.

Although I've watched Hurricaneger and not Kakuranger (still can't find a sub for this series), I think Hurricaneger is good but not great, so I'll cast a vote for Kakuranger.

Kakuranger beats Hurricaneger by a landslide. As a result, it gets to go head-to-head with Gokaiger in the special Pirates vs. Ninjas showdown (coming soon!).

Kakuranger set the bar, Hurricanger then perfected it.
Also, the homages to Liveman was so awesome to see, and the addition of the Gouraigers and Shurikenger made the later part of the show fun to watch.

* Four of the five Kakurangers are loosely based on the four main characters of the Chinese classical novel Journey to the West.
* The 10 human forms of Shurikenger were played by veteran Super Sentai and tokusatsu actors:
