Have things gotten juicy enough for our Gaim fans out there after the reveal of SH Figuarts Gaim & Baron earlier today? Bandai continues the epic reveals for Gaim with the first actual toy image of DX Kamen Rider Gaim Watermelon Arms/Armor!

This Arms Change compatible set will completely encase Gaim in a bulky Watermelon themed mech suit with a giant Naginata for a weapon!

Well, I can see now that I will need to buy that and the AC Gaim figure. That is cool.

So how is this being released? Same with Pineapple etc, is the armour just going to be sold on its own for a reduced price or what?

It's simply brilliant. Of all the Kamen Rider mecha that try to be sentai mecha this is by far the greatest. Far far better that Castle Doran, Power Dizer, Auto Vaijin, Wizardragon. All of it.

I like t he idea that Water Mellon arms turns into basically a mech suit that Gaim can pilot.

Reminds me of the Power Dizer if Fourze was more centred around it. As a mecha fan, I approve of this idea.

So is this supposed to go with the Figuarts figure or is it it's own separate thing?

I'd like to know this too. Will the figure come with Gaim, or is that sold separately?

Figuarts miiiiiight work, they are sorta similar in size.

If each one comes with Gaim, it's gonna be both costly and annoying. I have no intention of owning like thirty Gaim's just to have all the armours.

On the other hand, it's a bit ridiculous to not come with Gaim, selling just a piece of armor with no function besides being armor. Power Dizer, Wizardragon and all those have independent functions.

It's a DX figure like a sentai robo, and as stated in the news post is compatible with the Arms Change Gaim figures.

I was asking if it came with a base Gaim figure to combine with, without needing to buy the Orange Arms figure. :lol

This looks awesome. If they don't use this in the show more then 3 times, I'm gonna be pissed. As a gundam fan, I love this suit but at the same time, Toei barely has enough CG budget for transformations as it is.

The picture of melon mode and Gaim being so close to the box would suggest to me that's that is what is included. That and this Gaim is missing a lot of detail, like the gold on the legs etc. so I'd assume you get melon armour and a slightly different Gaim AC figure. =]

From my understanding of things, the WaterMelon Robo will come by itself and be compatible will all AC figures. Pine Arms and Strawberry Arms will come together in a set of their own (with no included Rider).

I preordered the Watermelon Robo from HLJ. It'll probably SUCK in the show, but it's a really cool toy and surprisingly cheap (although no doubt you'll get a better deal on Mandrake once it's actually released).

This toy line keeps looking better and better. Giant melon mecha suit, how can I not love it.

I've pre-ordered WM Robo, Pine&Strawberry Arms and the lock seed bikes from HLJ. But I'm really worried about getting screwed by HLJ, again. I've got nothing against them but everything I've pre-ordered in the past year is instantly 'out of stock' the day it comes in.

The pine and strawberry set is already up on there as well?

I don't get the hate for HLJ, I've never had any problems with them. The only problem with them really is their prices, if there is open orders on any other website I guarantee they'll offer a better price.

Have you preordered Super Sentai/Kamen Rider items from HLJ before?

Their prices aren't the greatest but that's not the point. The hate comes from them screwing me on LITERALLY ever single pre-order I've placed in the last year. How on Earth is it that when I pre-order something the first day the page goes live, like right after it goes live, that when the item eventually comes out my order immediately goes to backorder and I never get it?

I'm not exaggerating when I say this has happened to me at least 10 times in the last year with HLJ. They are 100% unreliable for anything.
