The Tokunation Secret Santa Program
 

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas, and a happy holidays. As you can tell by the title, this is secret Santa program for all of us fine members of Tokunation. Horray!

Alrighty then, for those of you who don't know what this means, I'll explain. A sceret Santa is when you get a gift from somebody, who was picked raffle style. They get you something, and you do not find out who got you the gift, until the gift arrives. Simple right?

Well, that's what we're doing. This (to my knowledge) will be the first time we do this. And due to this, a few rules need to be set in place.

Everybody has a $50 spending limit. You do not have to spend all $50, but that is the max you can spend. Shipping though will not count towards your budget, as shipping prices vary site to site, state to state, etc.

Being that this is a site that is inhabited by some children, I feel as if there should be a slight bit of a censorship rule. No giving pornographic items (porn, hentai, yuri, etc). However, since some movies may feature heavy doses of sex and or violence, and not be porn, I will allow those. It sounds odd, but I figured I may as well throw this in here.

You may do international items for whoever you are given. Just keep in mind, these items will take longer to get to you, and thus whoever you received.

That about covers the rules. Now, I shall explain how this will all work.

After everybody signs up, you will send a private message to the member algo448. In your message, simply ask for who you get to play Santa for. Also, include a list of 3 items you would like to receive. Now, this doesn't mean you will get all of those items (though you could if they are equal to, or lower then $50). The list is simply there to give whoever got you an idea on what to get instead of just picking up something random.

After everybody receives the person they are giving a gift to, simply get them the gift and send it. Do make sure though that included in the package is something noting that you are that person's secret Santa. However, you can do this anonymously if you choose, plus, it's not like we all know each others' real names. Also, make sure to include your address when you PM algo!

Also, the item doesn't have to get there before Christmas. If it comes a little while after, it's perfectly fine. Once again, this is due to how much shipping varies.

Well, that sums up all of the rules, and how this will work. Any MEMBER may join up. Everybody has until November 15th to sign up. After the 15th, the opportunity to join for this year will be stopped, and at that point, everybody will be paired up.

But I do have one question- say we list a CD, but we have multiple choices, like 3 different things, could they be an example of a CD we'd like or just list one cd to keep it simple?

If I'm understanding it correctly, you're asking if you were to list a CD, could you list next to it three choices?

If that's what you mean, then I'd honestly have to say no.

Okay. I have like 10 different ones I need but Ill just list the one Id most like :lol

Oh and is this going to be US only or intrrnational?

I know some of the members won't mind doing international, so I'll make it be to where you can do international, but you can request to not receive somebody who is international if you don't want to pay all the fees and pricier shipping.
