New Micro Series Kamen Rider Figures Revealed
8 Attachment(s)
Banpresto has a new line of Kamen Rider trading figures in store for us!
At prize Fair 2013, they unveiled a new line called UFC Micro, and Volume 1 of the series will have Heisei era Kamen Riders from Kuuga all the way up to Gaim represented in a microscopic form. At 15mm, the figures are barely bigger than a man’s finger and an impressive amount of paint work and detailing went into these tiny figurines. They will be in circulation starting June 2014. |
I'm not sure I see the point of these. I guess having every single rider (maybe even forms if they get there) within something that has an area of 10 cm would be quite amusing. I also can't imagine the manufacturing of these is very fun, and the painters probably hate them. For what the are though, they are quite impressively painted and detailed.
Cool as these are, I wouldn't know what to do with them. I wouldn't open them that's for sure, for fear they might go missing if I breath on them wrong.
:lol |
They look cool but what's the point? Heck, if you have a baby around (or a dog) they might get eaten.
Now I can have kamen riders beating the shit out of each other while my model B gauge train races by.
These are utterly pointless

I'm gonna pose these guys with my Transformers. They're fucking adorable and I want them all. They better be all in one box. Quote:
So can any number of accesories and parts of figures. I would like to think anyone with animals or children would exercise the proper descretion if they purchased these and not put them near children or pets. |

If these were sentai figures I could totally understand their purpose and maybe buy into them, they could just about be in scale with DX robos. But they aren't. As riders in that scale they don't really go with anything at all other than each other. Forgive me for not seeing the point in owning something so small that if I had poor vision I'd forget I owned it. |
I read "Micro Series" and briefly believed KR was getting a comic book series...Man, that would've been cool :lol
Anyway, these are kind of neat. They look to be more high end novelties than anything else. |
By the time these come out, someone will have written wargaming rules for them. I kind of dig them, but I'm a well-known sucker.

I love how people condemn other people's interests as a waste of money simply because they themselves don't see the appeal. Sorry my toys don't do as much as your toys. :lol Quote:

As cool little trinkets you win from arcade tokens, I can see the appeal in these for sure.
Can I has itty bitty Shinji pl0x?
I like the figures, but damn I want that diorama :lol
I always wanted to swallow my favorite Kamen Rider. :D
....Kamen Rider D&D anyone?
Those look good, but I think they are too small for my tastes.
If later on they release preposed ones, they would be great for dioramas. |

Maybe more Pathfinder sized? |
They would be perfect for a display with a future figuart of kamen Rider J.
I can't see these getting a volume two. I just don't think there are enough people who want kamen riders the size of a microSD to justify it.

Make some of the other giant vehicles and enemies and boom, best display ever. |
Well that's a good way to get all the main Heisei Riders if space is at a premium I guess. Or maybe you could give them to your Figuarts as Figuarts for them.
Those are some detailed little figures o_o I love'm!
Next to a MonsterArts, I can have Kamen Rider vs. Godzilla at long last! :lol
They're hilarious. Not a novelty I'll be buying into thankfully, as these are Banpresto prizes and not things you'll likely be able to purchase easily, but I don't feel the world is a worse place for having such amusingly small Riders. |
I actually really like these. They're like action figures for your action figures.
They're pretty impressive I'll give it that, but it's the same as having your name written on a grain of rice. So yeah, not for me, but that is some skill.
Here's the thing: I want posed versions of the Imagin and a scale Den-liner. Also, make some Mighty Max style playsets, Bandai!
These are actually really cool. If they were candy toys or something as accessible, I'd probably be interested in getting a set. They'd at least be nice for dioramas.
Man, if only these were 25mm or 30mm, they'd fit better with the minis I got. As is, I guess they fit with my Godzillas and Robots, but I'd have preferred a slightly bigger scale personally.
Sweet...now all they gotta do is release a "J" Kamenrider figuarts, and these guys will be to scale.
These look great...but why Luna Joker randomly?
Given that every other Micro Rider is in its standard form, the ad images in back are all standard forms, and that the green on OOO looks a bit off, I think that's merely a poor-looking Cyclone Joker.
