Armored Might MMPR White Ranger Gallery
15 Attachment(s)
The 'Armored Might' subline of Bandai of America's Power Rangers toy line continues with two new releases for Fall 2013, including a Power Rangers 20 figure, the White Mighty Morphin' Ranger.
The White Ranger stands at approximately 7 inches tall and has a fairly impressive 29 points of articulation. The figure features removable chest armor, gauntlets, arm bands, and boot cuffs. It also includes two pairs of interchangeable hands and a well sculpted Saba sword. White Ranger shares the same body sculpt as the previously released Mighty Morphin' Red Ranger and is able to wear/wield its accessories. While this Armored Might White Ranger figure is no S.H. Figuarts Kiba Ranger, it's still a very solid figure. Want TokuNation.com updates on the go? "Like" us on Facebook and follow us @tokunation on Twitter!! |
Proportions aside, I do like the unique touch of giving it a Zyuranger pattern chest under the shield.

I HAVE THE POWER! *both the White Ranger and He-Man themes start playing in unison* I HAVE CONFUSION!! |
That thing is hideously ugly. Does the shield at least stay on unlike the one for the Red Ranger?

I bought him for pure entertainment and see him and the earlier released Red Ranger as a funnier idea of what the 'Powerful Rangers' should have been like in Akibaranger. Seriously, BoA just loves going all '90s' on the Power Ranger figures even 20 years later. |
It is nice to see the US figures start to have details and colors on the accessories. However I am never into the muscle. :(

Okay, thats just awesome :lol

I hate the proportions, but I love the matching diamonds on his chest, legs, etc. under the armor. Little touches like that help me forget he was just sort of shoehorned in from a different series (Which I didn't mind when I was little anyways, since I had no clue).

This is a cool little figure, but as I own the SHF, I wouldnt get this even if my local stores got new stocks in. Now that isnt anything against this figure, if youd rather have spent $15-20 over $40-60...
I would like to see this sheild on Red and the Dragon sheild on White though. |

Honestly, this is a really solid figure. The White shield covers up the roid-rage chest a lot better than the Dragon shield. It's just the super muscular arms and thighs that kill it. |

I really want to find this guy, for nostalgia's sake alone, even if i wasn't a collector I'd buy him.

Thundercats continues to live on in Armored Might Power Rangers!
Most of those body pieces are from the discontinued Thundercats toyline from 2 years ago. |
I assume you mean the classic Thundercats?
That's pretty neat, actually. |

It's certainly shared ideas at the very least or there's a ton of retooling going on. I love how well articulated these are but I really don't like the overly muscled sculpt.

Hahahahaha, that is so cute. I guess it is secured if you can even get the straps to attach to the shield, which mine does not do. One of the holes is too big to even stay off even if I do get it attached. |
