Power Rangers Super Megaforce and Legacy Collection Images on ToysRUs.ca
16 Attachment(s)
The Canadian Toys R Us website has once again updated with some new Power Rangers listings, this time for both the Legacy Collection line and Power Rangers Super Megaforce!
From the legacy collection we have pages for both the Legacy Dragonzord and Dragon Dagger, both of which are priced $79.99. The Dagger is expected to ship on the 22nd Feb 2014, while the Dragonzord will follow on 22nd March. From Super Megaforce we firstly have 6-pack of 5" figures priced $59.99. This includes all five rangers and Prince Vekar. Secondly there a listing for a deluxe training set at $49.99, including a Buckle, Blaster (not pictured), Saber, basic Legendary Morpher and one Legendary Ranger Key. Both of these items are estimated for release the 22nd Feb 2014. Check out the images after the jump! |
Super Megaforce Blue looks too dark. Nice that we're getting Vekar though, Hopefully he isn't as bad to find as Vrak was.
|
If he's available in the first 6 pack he should be pretty easy to find.
|
Wow, I wasn't expecting legacy dragonzord or the dagger so soon. I really gotta reprioritze my game plan here.
|
Oh God that Dragonzord looks GLORIOUS.
|
I think Red and Blue look too dark.
Bandai really should have found a better way to handle the coat tails. It looks like these figures will have basically no articulation in the leg. If these are in fact 5", they're pretty disappointing. They could be forgiven in 4" scale, but at 5", I would expect better-looking figures. To make me change scales again, these really had to be better than this... |
Okay, they look cool, but I think only Ill be buying is Yellow :lol
Oh and Dragonzord -drool- |
those figures looks absolutely terrible, but that Dragonzord is a must even if I dont have the 2010 MZ
|
The female figures look fine. It's the guys legs that look odd to me.
|
That Dragonzord is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I'm REALLY going to need some help finding a Legacy Megazord.:(
|
So...do we have a reason for why we're getting a new size for the ranger figures? I'm a bit irritated that it's not the 1/18-ish realm we've been in, but it makes less sense to hit some weird middle ground between this and the old 1/12-ish figures.
|
The girl figures actually look pretty good. The guys are alright.
I think I'll get the Dragonzord if it ever comes here even though it doesn't fit my 2010 Megazord in terms of color scheme. :lol I wonder if it will be die-cast? |
That last image of Super Megaforce Pink….that's the Figuarts isn't it?

The dragon dagger and Dragonzord are AWESOME!
|
Yellow and Pink will make for a cheap SHF alternative.
But I miss the bicep swivels, I really do, that's what made the previous 5" girls so fun. |

Dragonzord plz.

Cool
Look neat. Will defiantly be getting Prince Vekar when released. I just see it not being available anywhere like Vrak and Loogie. :(
Dragon Zord looks very detailed. $80 is a lot for plastic though. |

I liked the cinched waist on Yellow and Pink, which really helps the look of those figures. I'll probably pass on them, though.
Legacy Dragonzord, well, what can I say other than it looks fantastic. Personally I am waiting to see some new Retrofire Zords. A Gokaioh Retrofire would be a nice addition to my lineup of RFs and SRCs. |
Just cause she's pink, I'll get Pink XD
|
I will never, ever get used to seeing roided up Gokaigers.
|
I kinda want buffed up Doc. :p
|
It's nice that the Dragon Dagger and Dragonzord come out in separate months. It helps soften the blow both will cost when they're not out at the same time.
In terms of the Gokaiger/Super Megaforce figures... Glad I got the S.H. Figuarts. Wow. The guys look so weird here with the BoA 'roided out' look. |
The Gokai Saber ended up looking pretty good. I guess the previous one we've seen was a test shot and not in final colors. Must resist cheap & easy to find "Super Megaforce Morpher" and start collecting keys.. it'll be harder when I see it on sale/clearance like what always eventually happens to Power Ranger toys around here.
I've already given in to the Legacy Dragonzord, and I already own the original! I even picked up a Legacy Megazord in preparation. |
The dragon Dagger and Dragonzord are each $80? Ouch.... and thats why I was hoping for a non-legacy one to go with my 2010.
|
If the Gokaiger suits in America are just powered-up versions of the Goseiger suits, and since they will appear together in the same show, shouldn't the figures be in the same scale, since it's kind of just "Season 2" of America's Goseiger?

Looks like the battle mode face is molded in the bottom jaw. No longer a separate piece.
|
|
I REALLY hope that the Dagger comes out sooner in the US. I've got a $29 gift card that expires before that release date and I'd like to use it on the Dagger.
|
Hmm thing i have been having a issue with is the fact that the guys look way to buff compared to the show. Tv show has regular people, Toys were molded after german bodybuilders.

There is some method to this madness though. Look at the rest of the trends in the action figure aisle. Both Mattel and Hasbro have been making their main lines 5POA 4" figures for about the last year. As for the 5" scale, TMNT is in these scale and TMNT is still big at the moment. BoA is just matching what their competitors and peers are doing. Also, the 4" Megaforce figures sold like shit, so they're changing things up. |
