Kyoryuger VS Go-Busters Magazine Scans Reveal Old & New Enemies
 

Several new images of the upcoming special "Kyoryuger VS Go-Busters" have given us a close look at the villains behind this explosion of saurian Sentais!

The Kyoryugers are confronted by Space WarGod "Boldos" who is able to resurrect several fallen villains as "Neo Enemies." Among the returning foes are Grifforzer (Goldar to US audiences), Gailton (known as Zeltrax to DinoThunder fans) and several Golems (perhaps better recognized as the "Putty Patrollers" in certain circles).

Go-Busters' enemies Enter & Escape are also said to be resurrected but are not featured among the scans.

I'm very indifferent to this. It sounded cool at first but Grifforzer has had too much of a makeover. Sure the elements are all there but had I not known it was him I probably wouldn't even make the connection between the two.

Also, he never died so I don't understand why the film is treating him as a "fallen" villain.

Agree I know I could tell it was grifforzer just by the wings so I'm taken this new grifforzer as his son it make more sence then it begging grifforzer

I agree, especially considering Grifforzer's design actually hasn't aged badly, so giving him a needless upgrade is a bit redundant, its just too busy imo. I hope that this isn't really Grifforzer and they're not going to act like he's dead and not mention Lami and his son.

Am I the only one who thinks Grifforzer actually looks pretty cool in this new look.

I don't see Grifforzer in those pics. Where is he? I see a creature that looks like a combination of Grifforzer and the Gailton, and then Gailton, but no Grifforzer.

Oh, and why the hell are Escape and Enter back?

Because it's a Go-Busters crossover film??? Not that half these pics would have you believe it.

Holy crap Griffizor looks weird, Zeltrax just looks like a normal ole Deboss monster. Oh and Escape and Enter are in the scans, just in a tiny photo. I know I havent watched GB all the way, but was it that bad of a series that they have to ignore it like the black sheep?

Seeing as the Tokkyugers will probably cameo in this (being the 5th Sentai here), I'm going to go ahead and call this a train wreak.

As much fun as I think this movie will be , it's a real shame that they couldn't seperate the 2 things and have the go- busters team up be seperate from the Dino Sentai team up. But there ain't no sense in bitching.

New Goldar looks weird. Not bad , just weird. I am really more curious about how the American adaptation of this footage will turn out.

Anyone else notice that Zeltraxx and Goldarlocks both have the same weird rotten tomato design in their chest armor?

When it comes to Tokusatsu movies, I don't care much about how the story turns out or who shows up. As long as I have fun watching it, it's a perfectly fine movie to me even if it has flaws. I doubt this'll be any different.

Heck, look at Super Hero Taisen. That took up a movie space for Fourze and Go-Busters and yet they only played a part in the beginning and end on the movie. Even then, still a fun film.

Until DiEnd trolled at the end of the movie and made me nerdrage.

I like the new Goldar 2.0. And when this airs in the US, it would be really cool if they got Kerrigan Mahan to reprise the role from the original.

I don't see why people don't have a right to complain. I'm far more of a Go-Busters fan than I am Kyoryuger, and to be honest I don't have any fondness for either Zyuranger or Abranger.

So when I see a group of magazine scans where the Go-Busters have minimal focus (oh hey - a huge Dino Sentai roll call pic without the Busters anywhere in sight), I'm naturally going to be somewhat concerned.

I see where she's coming. It's been overwhelmingly where's Go-Busters?

It just pisses me off how everyone is like: OMG, the Go-Busters won't be in because Zyuranger and Abaranger.
Zyuranger isn't that big of a thing in Japan. They don't have the "first season bonus" like Mighty Morphin. It's just another sentai season out of many. But of course they advertise the return of the other dino sentai, because cameo appearances are always popular. But that doesn't mean the Go-Busters will get a minor role. The trailer features the Go-Busters and the Kyoryugers and none of the old dino sentai. The material has some more of the old characters, but that's more because it's unusual for a Sentai VS.

The movie isn't even finished yet, so don't panic, okay?

And besides, I love Go-Busters AND Kyoryuger and I'm just looking forward to see a great team-up with small cameo of the old dino sentai. So far, all VS. movies treated both teams equally and I don't think they'll change that now, just because Go-Busters isn't that popular (besides, Kyoryuger isn't sooo much more popular). Go-Busters had a team-up before and it was just fine.

It occurred to me that I am excited to see Ryuji again. And how he was my favorite buster compared to Daigo being my favorite Kyoryuger. They are both on the complete opposite side of the personality spectrum.

But then again... Gai was my favorite Gokaiger. Maybe it will alternate every year and I'll like a serious Tokyuger or however you spell it.

Ryuji was kinda fun. I love that one episode where he goes berserk in the headquarters xD

That's what made him so cool. The overheating thing was awesome! I loved that it made him the combo of brains and brawn. Like the Sentai equivelent of the Hulk.

That and his bad ass fight with Escape in the tv studio. It's one of my favorite Sentai fight scenes

I loved the weaknesses in general. I hope they all show in the movie again. Like Hiromu freezing when he sees Torin or something xD

You mean except the page that exclusively shows Go-Busters stuff? Or the other page were everyone got evenly balanced space on the page? The only time there is nothing Go-Busters related is the splashpage with the Dino sentai.

Kyoryuger is the current thing and of course it will get alot more focus in the marketing than Go-Busters.

And speaking of the dino sentai...they must have so much focus in this movie that toei didnt even bother to put their names in the title ;)

Yup, that single page as compared to the double page spread of Dino Sentai stuff and the other page showcasing a barely recogniseable villain which hasn't been relevant in Super Sentai in about 20 years.

I'm fully aware Kyoryuger is going to get the majority of the marketing focus, but it's hard to deny marketing is making the Dino crossover a bigger thing than the previous team returning.

Your blowing this way out of proportions. Gokaiger VS Goseiger had alot more actors/characters coming back for the movie and they barely showed up in that one.

Grifforzer is the biggest on the page so what? If Toei brings back old villains for the new heroes to fight and gives them completely new costumes of course they are going to shove it in our face.

Toei does not gain anything if they crap all over Go-Busters. It would make more sense for them to give Tokkyuger a bigger part because Kids can see all the new toys they can buy.

Grifforzer looks...different. I'll buy it though since he's supposed to be a clone, right?

It'd be funny if the real Grifforzer were to show up given he's still alive, just trapped.

I was just about to say, Grifforzer never really died, he was trapped in a small urn along with Bandora and the rest of her minions at the end of Zyuranger.

You know what I think would be cool? If they introduced a new Go-Buster member, and he's dinosaur themed.

If that is really Grifferzor, then it just shows at how lazy Toei is nowadays when it comes to Sentai villains. Instead of using prosthetics and stuff to ensure the face looks natural with a moving mouth, they would rather go the cheap route and make it look like a giant toy.
