Capsule Series Ankh and Strawberry Lock Seed Video Demo
 

Youtube’s KazooCh has a new Subarashi video for us looking at a pair of fruity new Lock Seeds plucked fresh from the Garden. In the video, he demonstrates the Strawberry and Ankh Lock Seeds from the capsule series.

If you’ve been following the show, you’re already familiar with what the Strawberry Seed does but the interesting thing is noises that the Ankh Seed makes.

Like the Ryuki Seed, the Ankh Lock Seed has unique noises. “Ankh Arms!” and “Happy Birthday!” are activated when turned on, in addition to “Orange ice!”, “Banana Ice!” and finally “Grape Ice!”

I thought the Rider-based collectibles were a neat thing during W, cause at least then it was like a mini soundboard, but then from there they just all felt obligatory and predictable. The Lockseeds so far (based on Ankh and Ryuki) are totally made with love, though. I am legit excited to see where they go with each of these, including the form changes. :D

There arent any in show form changes except for the 4 that are going to be in the movie. Sadly, Id love to see a bunch more :lol

Remember how Future Ankh in the Fourze/OOO movie told Eiji that one day his core medal would be fixed? Mmmmmmmmmmmmmaybe this is how.

The craziness of OOO combined with the craziness of Gaims gimmick... I can see it.

And you could see it happening completely by accident to :lol

I can see it now- Kougami finds a Lockseed, tries to combine it and a Medal, makes a Red Lockseed, Kouta gets it and summons Ankh back to normal. Then Ankh finds out that his lockseed can summon ice cream so never leaves Kouta alone.

I love it :lol

Perfect! Now if Toei can see this and we will have a reason for OOO to come back!

Whoops my wording was a bit unspecific there - When I referred to form changes I was specifically referencing the variations of the Lockseeds, since we now have scans that show us an Os TaJaDor Combo Lockseed. So I'm curious how those will be handled, unless they're just going to have the same sounds like Wizard's rings.

But since you brought it up, I just realized since the Lockseeds don't have any scan-related electronics, there's no way to use them with an arcade game for game-exclusive forms ;o; guess this gives fans the chance to make stuff up?~ I might have to give that a shot sometime!

Also a random thing to bring up now, back on topic with Ankh... I noticed that on top of Ankh, we're also getting Momotaros, so I wonder if these exist (apart from the marketability of those characters) because of Gaim's theme of summoning monsters.

Like, before we got the Ryuki Lockseed I'd theorized we might get a specific Dragredder Lockseed, as well as WizarDragon from Wizard. It'd be a cool way for these collectibles to further distance themselves from the last few years of collectibles, by using characters that would never get used.

I forgot we are getting a Momo lockseed... damn Bandai does want my money this year >_<
