Power Rangers Megaforce Christmas Special! "The Robo Knight Before Christmas"
 

It's that time of year again, where we get a Christmas clipshow and they try and pass it off as a holiday special. Or is it? The Halloween episode had some decent original stuff in it framing the clips. So maybe this will be better then Power Rangers Samurai's tribute to R Kelly: Trapped in a Megazord.

Let's all watch and see if RoboKnight finds the true meaning of Christmas!

Has clipshows go it was alright. I enjoyed RoboKnight having his own C3P0 Storytelling to the Ewoks moment.

Agreed. It was enjoyable and a little something to hold us over while waiting for Super Megaforce to start.

Was this better than the other PR xmas specials? Usually Xmas specials suck and are boring.

So how did robo knight get from the massacre of human life (barley functioning mind you) to africa? Is this pre invasion?

I skipped through almost all of the clips, but honestly I thought this was one of the best Christmas specials PR has done. It just went to show how much of a brilliant character Robo Knight has grown into.

Good to hear. Ill have to check it out. Is robo knight narrating the clips or is it unaltered clip from past eps?

Robo Narrates. It's very C3PO storytelling to the Ewoks, it was good.

This was funny but a good little episode. But when that little kid called him "Robo Santa", I died.

I had low expectations fo the episode and was blown away. very enjoyable

I liked everything I saw , except the whole Gia essentially taking advantage of Jake's crush by saying she wants something expensive for Christmas. That was kind if a dick move.

First episode of PRM I ever watched, and I liked it. Mostly because of RoboKnight being clueless, but it was good. The only thing that bugged me was when they used his transformation stock footage, including the change card, to 'power up some Christmas lights. Especially when it cuts at the end. Really Saban? Would it have cost too much too show him typing a code into his morpher?

That wasn't being cheap, there was no need for him to be seen showing what number he typed into the Morpher to give his power into the Christmas lights.

I know. That's what makes it weirder. They didn't have to show it, they could have just gone with him standing there, pressing random buttons, then closing it. Instead, they randomly cut to the stock footage, and then straight back. It was really jarring.

The robo knight rap is still very painful to listen to. Also emotionless troy still makes me laugh.
