Well....I love this movie.

The Story was really sweet and I loved the action in this Movie. Even the Mecha battles that I normally dont like in Kyoryuger I freakin adored in this flick.

The only thing I really didnt care for was the Candelira song that was used as a transition and the Reveal that D´s actual Form was not very human :lol
I almost laughed out loud when Daigo ripped his helmet off and you saw this giant monster head.

It also helped alot that I saw this movie in tokio on the big screen. My heart was racing all the way during the opening scene at the concert.

Gonna watch the raw this week, but the first overall impression is pretty good. Seems like they did some cool stuff in that one.

I just finished watching the raw and I must say that this movie was all that I had hoped for. D was a BA villain and the battles were top notch. Tobaspino being controlled by the Flute Buster was nice nod to Burai/Tommy. Can't wait to watch the sub now so I have a better idea of what was going on.

I thought there would be more musical numbers in it though. Also, Candelira's number really drove in that Aigaron is Psy, and that Nossan would be better for her.

Must wait for subs!

Can you watch this without watching the show? I really like the henshin stuff in this, I just don't really care for...anything else. But as this is a movie I know it'll have its own unique plot and set of characters, so I'm hoping it can give me a window to appreciate the suits and action and stuff again.

This is a case where the movie's biggest failing is the run time over anything else. A great villain, a nice plot, a tense scenario, but it all has to be rushed because it only has 30 minutes to get it all done. Stuff that a normal movie would be throwing at the audience around 50 minutes in gets tossed at you only 8 minutes in, and it's just too much.

If there was an hour long DC of this movie, it would be so, so much better.

And yeah. You don't need much initiation in the show to understand the movie, so feel free to just jump into it.

Agreed. I thought this was easily the best Super Sentai movie we've gotten, but the short run time still kills it somewhat :( the opening was unbelievably rushed.

Anyway, love D/Deathryuger and Tobaspino so that was all brilliant. I even enjoyed Candelira's number (complete with Aigaron doing his PSY dance) :lol

For a second I thought I was seeing things when Aigaron started doing that :lol

This is the first thing of Kyoryuger that I felt kinda…meh on. Storywise the pacing was a little off. There was no real insight on D or even his girls they just…sorta appear.

I think it would've been better off had D been part of the Deboss Legion from the start, or if they showed a scene with Choas creating the battery.

Still…compared to most summer movies I liked it more than the Gobusters and far more than the Gokaiger ones.

UH... the fuck did I just watch? It was like BAM BOOM POW WOW EXPLOSIONS!!!! End credits.

This is hands down one of the worst Sentai movies I have ever watched. It had a great villain that was just beaten? I am not sure, it is hard to tell if anything was defeated in this movie. There was absolutely no plot just a lot of random scenes with explosions. OMG, did Michael Bay write this thing?

Of course he didn't. Not enough explosions :lol

It's funny since Micheal Bay directed those movies, not written...

Oh look Jim Bob! Another thing we have to watch!

This was absolutely an excellent movie, a bit short not being much longer than an episode but it was so good I wanted more. The characters all fought and sang awesomely, D was a badass villain, and it was great to get a bit of a look into King's past. It was chock full of awesomeness. Also Aigaron doing Gangnam Style was one of the best moments of this.

As all Toei movies... Didn't really care for it.

It was pretty good, but as others have mentioned, too much was packed into too short of a movie.

Just sat down to really watch this and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It has some of the break neck pacing the early episodes of the show do but that isn't terrible.

If anything the movie cemented my desire for a Deathryuger figuart even more, and made me very glad I'd already gotten DX Tobaspino. Since it was used in that episode of the series prices have more than doubled.

And come Bandai, where's my DX Flute Buster? :lol
