Finally this show has started to capture my attention again. After a long while I finally got some enjoyment from it again :lol

Wild Chalice is a fantastic design without being too crazy different from standard Chalice. The revelations about Dr. Hirose and what he really is, what he was really planning to do to Kenzaki. All good stuff. Where was this significant kind of development before? We spent like 10 episodes doing a will he/won't he situation about ether Mutsuki would be taken over by the Spider. But over the course of 4 Blade has gotten King Form, found out it hurts him, and that'll slowly turn him into a joker.

Wild Chalice is pretty cool with his wild slashers. I like how it works with his original weapon too

Man, A LOT has happened in these last few episodes, and yet, it can all be explained in just a couple sentences. Hirose is really an Artificial Undead as the real Hirose died way back then. Kenzaki could turn into a Joker Undead if he keeps transforming into King Form. And Hajime gets his Wild Card form. Not to mention Tachinbana realizes he was becoming a dick again. Finally, Mutsuki just seems to be hanging around right now.

I think my favorite scene in these episodes though has to be when Amane tells off Mutsuki when he runs into her and Hajime and then Hikaru's reaction to it. That is just priceless.

Other than that, I don't really have much to say about these episodes. They aren't my favorite, but they are still quite awesome. Oh, but it is pretty awesome having UltraSeven be our main villain. Well, pseudo main villain.

OH yeah, are we doing a LWW next week despite it being Xmas?

Hadn't actually considered it. We'll call it a Thursday Edition next week and take Wednesday off :lol

And seriously there are like 5 episodes in this whole show where Tachibana is doing something dickish.

It's funny how Hajime stopped going wild as Joker after he got all 13 cards and his wild form, but now Kenzacki risks becoming a joker. I feel bad for Mutsuki for not getting any upgrade, will I would feel bad if he wasn't the Spider undead's puppet. so with 10 episodes left the end games afoot and the true battle is about to begin.

Totally digging Wild Chalice's look. For some reason it clicks for me more than regular Chalice.

Question: Where can I DDL these? My current method is so slow I've got up to episode 9 with up to 15 waiting.

Yeah, I really liked how after Hajime was calmed, he had to then talk down Kenzaki. Really liking Wild Chalice, and as Young Optimus 14 said, I like how his weapons work, especially how they store in his legs. However, I still think I like regular Chalice a bit more. Interesting revelation about Hirose's father, I wonder if we'll get to see Trial A & C?

after this set of episodes I can't even begin to tell who the final enemy is, it's just crazy how many plots there are, though with there only being 10 or so episodes left, all of them will be resolved in time.

EVOLUTION

I really liked how far Kenzaki was willing to go to get Hajime back to his senses. Gave up his Absorber to Mutsuki and his belt to Yoshito and Tachibana to get all of the Heart Undead cards together to surpress Joker. And it worked and we get Wild Chalice in the process. The new weapons actually felt rather mantisy and work his original weapon. And the suit design pops more than the regular Chalice.

37 gives us a nice counter part to 36 where Hajime steps up save Kenzaki from becoming a Joker himself due to King Form. Then we have the revelation that Yoshito is actually Trial B with his memories implanted. Makes you where/who Trial A and C are.

I just love Chalice's Wild-form so much! It's definitely a step up from the regular colors.

So why are the Ace and King of Hearts the most simplisticly designed of all Undead, save the Human? I know it's because they're used to become Chalice and production needs them to look simpler, but why are they simpler in-story?

I don't know, I think the Human Undead looks really simplistic.

I don't really count it, personally, but we do see the Paradoxa Undead in its natural form in Decade. It looks nothing like Wild Chalice.

37- Chalice's upgrade! Looks awesome! i might not care for the series much damn at the designs

38- Damn Tachibana. Shoot first is your motto huh? All 4 riders fightin for Kenzaki? cool.

39- Hajime is back and Hirose's dad is an Undead trial? Dang.

Epic Blade Catchup Marathon Part 4/6!

A great set of episodes, Wild Chalice is beautiful. Possibly my favourite rider design of all time... I couldn't believe that Kenzaki would just give away the Rouze Absorber and Belt like that, just how far is he prepared to go for Hajime...? It was good to see Hajime saving Kenzaki for a change though, and now Kenzaki has the possibility of turning into another Joker hanging over him if he keeps using King, interesting.

I guessed Hirose's father would be turning up at some point, but Trial B? Did not expect that... so where're A and C? Also, what was (father) Hirose's other card? I guess time will tell!

Aww, poor Mutsuki, without an upgrade. Speaking of that, I loved when Wild Chalice was trying to calm King Form, and Leangle goes to attack him and Chalice just brushes him away like a fly, that made me chuckle.

Right, onto 40-42!

If Blade were ever given a US redo I'd like to see them keep the plot largely intact, but make Chalice female and play up the relationship with Blade as more of a romance. That part of the show already works, but I think a romantic angle would really make it a much more powerful story. Especially when spoiler spoiler spoilery spoiler.

No, just no. I don't need a romance added in just for the sake of adding one in.

It wouldn't be for the sake of adding one, it would be for making the story more compelling for a culture where a romantic relationship is much more powerful than an epic bromance.

You know, that'd actually be an interesting change to the show.
