Specualtion: Deathryuger to Join Kyoryugers?
 

Thanks to a rather sly fan catching the filming of an upcoming Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger episode it looks like we may be seeing more of Deathryuger in the coming weeks.

Deathryuger is of course the false Kyoryuger/villain of the summer film, Gaburincho of Music. Using the stolen battery for Tobaspino the Knight of Brutality D became Deathryuger. However recent events from the series have laid that character to rest and left the #00 battery in the Kyoryugers capable hands. Your guess is as good as ours on who this new Deathryuger may be.

Miko? Tessai's descendant? Dantetsu Kiryu? Could this merely be a dream sequence? All we know for sure is that the Kyoryugers will be facing the 4 resurrected Debo Monsters that represent the 4 seasons of the year and that Deathryuger is featured in the ranger line-up between Blue & Green.
Time to speculate away!

honestly Miko would make sense but i hope it comes out of left field but i could be wrong i never posted it here but i though for the longest time that Daigo's Father Dantetsu was going to be the silver ranger

I may have this wrong but wasn't he shown along side Torin in the Silver Ranger scan images as a possible person to take over the role? Sure this may be a kind of red herring to eagle eyed catalogue-ers but I was thinking it could happen, if only for a few episodes towards the end.

Now I've seen this image... well I think maybe Dantatsu could be Deathryuger. He's been brought back into the show in conjunction with the current storyline so it's entirely possible.

I think it's more of a possiblity that Tessai's ancestor was meant merely to bring back the idea that powers can change hands (Plezuon, anyone?).

I guess that doesn't mean much when it comes to Dantetsu admittedly, but this is sentai it doesn't have to make any logical sense as long as its cool looking. Plus the guy has way too many skills to stay unpowered. Don't you think?

I'll confirm it here. Daigo asked me to help him out and I just couldn't say no. Now if they'll just announce my Figuart.

I support this. That Suit design was too badass to waste on 1 appearance.

You know if this amounts to anything meaningful props to Sanjo. He has REALLY made that summer movie worth it if Deathryuger joins the team.

I don't think Mikoto would become Deathryuger. After all, it was just stated in the movie and show that she was the reincarnation of the Miko who fought with Tobaspino in the past. However, that Miko wasn't Deathryuger either, so I can't see that happen. Besides, they would have to alter the costume for that. Seems unlikely.
Dantetsu seems like an option to me. That would finally explain why he's so important. But ss someone said before, this might also be a dream or flashback scene, so... I'll just wait and see

I think this is a good Idea to have Deathryuger join the team I hope it is true and that it is Tessai's decendent

I've been of the opinion for along time that Dantetsu was more important than we knew. I thought perhaps could have been the original Kyoryu Red or something like that. Maybe he could be the one to finally use the Deathryuger powers for good.

Interesting. I wonder how this will come about since the powers were technically tied to a Deboss battery and not the Tobaspino one.

Also gotta wonder if he'll get some sort of "good" name change, Deathryuger isn't the most heroic of names. But then I guess neither was Abare Killer :lol

You wanna know what'd be pretty neat?
Endorf gets freed, but he's too weak because Dogold sapped too much of his strength. His hatred grows against Deboss (Mostly Dogold) so much that he decides to use the Deboss battery to help the Kyoryugers.

The implications about Dogold losing control of Endorfs body would kind of support that. Little pieces of his personality keep breaking through. Dogold wants Dantetsu's body for his own anyway, he knows he's stronger that Utchy or Endorf and he can probably retain control over Dantetsu. That would give Endorf his freedom and motive to take the battery. But him playing nice with the Kyoryugers seems like a stretch is all. No matter how angry he is.

I think the most likely scenario is Dantetsu becoming Deathryuger. He's too badass/mysterious to not factor in in a more significant way than he has.

But that's what makes Endorf so enjoyable. He's not anger, he's hatred. He was always a mellow toned character, though. He's not getting angry at the Deboss, he's hating them, and losing reason to follow them.
It's timed perfectly with Dogold deciding he wants a better body.

It'll shake the entirety of the status quo up, which is something Sentai love doing at the 40 episode mark. Daigo losing his father to Dogold, Dogold turning against Deboss, Endorf siding with the heroes because he hates one side more than the other, and whatever the hell is going on with Chaos.

If Daigo's father got the power, status quo would stay the same since Dogold wouldn't be strong enough to turn on the Deboss legion without Dantetsu's power, Endorf would kind of just be stuck in limbo with little else to do, and whatever the hell is going on with Chaos.

Chaos is becoming the new Debos isn't he? That's the indication I'm getting at least. Deboss has become a part of his body since he was destroyed by Bakuretsu Kyoryuzin. I would assume that Chaos will eventually be consumed by his master.

And there's no question Dogold wants Dantetsu to usurp the Deboss. And while I get how Endorf's personailty works and that it would change the status quo, it'd be quite the game change to have Endorf side with anyone. Almost too much of a game changer. But then I suppose Utsusememaru & Endorf would then have common ground make it all the more reasonable for them to work together.

That's a really neat idea. Almost too neat to happen.

Is it just me or do I see a skirt on Kyoryu Cyan?

Miko would be a great choice to be the new Deathryuger, but the suit actor cannot be passed as a female, so it's got to be someone else.

when i first heard about ep. 39 i thought he was going to join then. after he didn't i just thought he was done for the rest of the series, good to know he isn't.

My theory, probably half baked, but Canderrilla, or Luckyuro becomes the new Deathryuger, since it's a Deboss character.

I just realized that not only does he not have the gold arm plates, but he also doesn't have red sleeves. At least it appears to be dark blue in that pic. Maybe it really is Kyoryu Navy. At this point I don't care as long as we get more Tobaspino/Spinodai-oh. I freaking love that mecha!
