Okay, so I haven't recovered from Frozen fever, and decided to draw the lovely Queen Elsa on my iPad:

Alright here goes another bit of work done in iPad. Learnt a few tricks with this one, it was real fun! I call it, "Friendship"

Hey guys, this is something I’ve been working on for a while. It came about one day when I joked with algo448 about my coffee obsession, saying wouldn’t it be cool to have a coffee and tea magical girl. We were watching Heartcatch Precure at that time, and I jokingly mentioned that we should have a “Cure Latte” and “Cure Tea”. And thus, the idea for this series was born.

What initially started as a Precure fanfiction evolved into something that was more original, because I wanted to create a universe with its own rules separate from Precure. I hope you guys enjoy it!


Meet Garde Espresso! Coffee-addict Nadia Chen is a bright, cheerful hero who seeks to preserve people’s hopes and smiles. Nadia’s life is what one would consider vastly unremarkable, and it doesn’t help that she’s not too interested to do too much to change that. She just doesn’t feel motivated enough to do more than her daily routine. However, one day, a run-in with a strange talking cat and a frightening beast gave her the opportunity to become a superhero and protect her city! With her Spoon of Doom in one hand, and Garde Filter in the other, she’ll vanquish all Nihil that dare to threaten Beacon Port!

Of all the things she could have gone with, Nadia chose coffee as the base of her powers. She transforms using the Garde Filter, a enchanted portafilter that produces magical espresso. Her Spoon of Doom is her primary weapon, so named because she thought it was cool!

• NOTE: Coeurgardes is a play on "Heart Guardians" in French. A Garde is named after his or her theme, with Garde + Theme. Fun fact, did you know Gardevoir is named the same way? (Guardian of vision)

EDIT: Misspelled "coeur" embarrassingly.

Here's the next character in my Coeurgardes story! This piece took ages to do, I made so many mistakes, but I'm really glad it's done. Hope you guys like it!


Here comes Garde Tea! One could say that Rose McKenna’s moral conscience is a bit too strong, but that just means she’ll never cease protecting people’s hopes and dreams. Her calm, friendly demeanour betrays her conflicted inner self and it was to cast aside this turmoil that Rose came to Beacon Port. To her great surprise and wonder, she finds city is guarded from hellish demons by the heroic Garde Espresso. Rose grows to idolize Garde Espresso and when given the opportunity to wield similar powers to her hero, she jumps at it! Brandishing her trusty sword Resilience, Garde Tea joins Garde Espresso in battling the Nihil threat!

Rose chose to base her powers off tea because she loves it and she feels it complements Nadia’s coffee-based powers. She transforms using the Garde Tea Pot, which produces enchanted tea. Resilience, her weapon, was inspired by tea picks used in tea ceremonies.

Adorable...again! :D
