The 38th Super Sentai team has been fully revealed!

Our new Rangers are:

Tokkyu 1 (Red)-Raito, played by Jun Shison

Tokkyu 2 (Blue)-Tokatsuchi, played by Jin Hiramaki

Tokkyu 3 (Yellow)- Hikari, played by Riria

Tokkyu 4 (Green)-Mio, played by Ryusei Yokohama

Tokkyu 5 (Pink)- Kagura, played by Ai Moritaka

Looks like this new group is all aboard for their heroic duties!

Congrats to the Super Sentai series for finally getting their own Billy Cranston.

Overall I like.
The actress playing Mio/Tokkyu 3 feels like a cross between Morita Suzuka(Shinkenyellow) and Misaki Ayame(Escape).

Really liking the cast. They look pretty solid!

They look good to me, except Red looks like Wataru with his big lips lol. I love the nerdy look of Blue, and the girls look cute. More intrigued to see the Villains now.

I do not like pigtails.
Directors see it as a way to make a character look younger or more childish. I see it as a way of making a character unappealing to look at.

Looks like a young cast. And Red looks like Shinken Blue to me.

I miss sentai teams where you could tell the males team members from the females when in in costume...

Tokyu Yellow is freaking cute.

Perhaps there's an ice theme with the villains. I'm not a huge train buff so the reason why they're wearing heavy duds is lost on me.

Yeah, the pigtails are a big red flag to me. It reminds me of Natsuki from Boukenger, who was insufferably childish. I really hope this isn't another kawaiiko stereotype, but I'm guessing that's what we're going to be getting. :(

Looks like a good cast, though the only one I really recognize is Tokkyu 4(Hirari). Ryusei Yokohama was one of the three main characters in Riaru Onigokko The Origin and after rewatching the movie again I have to say I really liked his acting in it.

So looking forward to Tokkyuger now

Childish though the character type may be, I really liked her.

They're boring. There is nothing interesting about their looks at all. And the dude with the glasses looks like every other Japanese character with glasses. As for pink, what is she, 15? So not only has Toei played it safe with their staff, but they are also playing their cast safe. God I hope this show is well written.

I dunno they are just so...generic? You know how the suits look like a parody, so do the cast. If you closed your eyes and imagined a sentai team, without thinking of a specific one, it'd look like this. This is like the sentai sentai.

Just checked Wikipedia and it seems Tokkyu 4 was none other than Kamen Rider Meteor's reason to fight in the beginning a.k.a Jiro not so long ago.

Well let's get all aboard shall we or shall I?

Red: He looks like to be a little bit like on the shy side but also kinda like as if he's athletic..? I don't know.

Blue: Close your eyes and image his smile. He looks like to be the brains so that's nice probably would look through the sentai storage area and be like hey let's change this.

Yellow: She is attractive, and looks like to be a but more of the popular girl at school.

Green: Please in Kyoryuger it worked but come on! He looks like he will take things too seriously. Maybe I'll like him just for the figuarts????

Pink: She looks like that goth girl from Fourze, but different. She looks to be a little anti social but also creative.

Well one thing is for sure, this show looks like to be getting better, maybe when I hear there voices then my opinion will be final.

Look likes a decent bunch to me. Although I really hope we aren't getting another Natsuki. Out of all the insufferable Boukengers, I found her the worst.
