What episodes do I need to watch to know everything I need to about the Megaforce cast?

I'd say the pilot and The RoboKnight Before Christmas.

It's a sad truth about Megaforce, the characters are rather blank slates what with the crappy direction of Tzachor and Nickelodeon's dumbass 20 episode fetish.

Seriously, The Roboknight Before Christmas was an important episode??

It was a clip show that covered everything you need to know about the Megaforce cast and a great round off to Robo Knight's character growth. Fits the OPs bill perfectly really.

Pretty much. Robo Knight Before Christmas successfully recaps any important bit you need to know about the series as a whole and the characters.

Plus RoboKnight in a Santa Hat. Which is oddly awesome :lol

I'd watch the the pilot and thelast two episodes. And maybe find some zord/megazord clips online, if you dig them like I do. Unfortunately the whole thing feels like a buildup to SMF.

Ah, I see. I should watch that and just call it a day. I honestly haven't watched much Megaforce except the pilot episode. I attempted to give the serious a try and like fifteen mins in, Roboknight started rapping. Never again.

You forgot 2 important bits about Troy. He hates water bottles and he doesn't cry. If you think he is, he will ask you if you see any tears.

All you need to know is Megaforce is complete and utter shit for the most part but ironically, despite everything, pretty much everything Goseiger did poorly Megaforce streamlines, the best example is RoboKnight. Like you see how strong a character RoboKnight is? And how central he is to the team and all that stuff? Yeah, none of that was in Goseiger.

..........So, I should really just snag Gosei Ground off eBay, watch four episode of the show, and prepare for Super Mega?

When was the last Trainwreck of a PR show like this?

The thing about Megaforce is that it's only complete shit in how...meh the entire thing is. Thirty two episodes felt rushed and cramped so twenty is just off the scale in blandness. There is barely a shred of plot, barely a shred of characterisation, every episode is just pretty much pure Goseiger footage with new dubbing. And after watching Goseiger pretty much all of the footage is just directly lifted, so the plot of the episodes and the contexts of the fights are pretty much exactly the same only all story and semblance of acting ability is stripped out.
