Kamen Rider has like a lot of key items for weaponry & gadgetry.

Ryuki - Cards (probably like TCGs)

Faiz - Phones & electronic equipment

Blade - Playing cards

Hibiki - Musical instruments

Kiva - Whistles

Decade - Cards (again)

W/Double - USB Flash drives & gadgets

OOO - Medals & drinking soda cans

Fourze - Switches & fast-food

Wizard - Rings & plastic modeled monsters

Gaim - Locks

But what key item do you think KR will do next?

Slightly off-topic, but I never understood these.

With W, the gadgets were items like phones or cameras, which fit with the USB gimmick. With OOO, the little helpers were cans in a vending machine activated by the medals, aka coins thus tieing into the main gimmick of OOO. But Fourze had fast food and switches, and Wizard had rings and plastic models? How are those in any way connected?

Also, Hibiki had discs.

The Fast Food is kind of explained. One of the Girls in Fourze designed the Foodroids and since she is the comic relief she made them look like Hamburgers,Shakes etc.

The plastic models were based off mystical animals, but that's about as much connection as you're gonna get :lol

With the Foodroids, didn't McDonalds sponsor Fourze or something?

That doesn't really reconcile switches and food.

Actually, that makes more sense.

McDonolds has sponsored multiple series, though.

The Switches were invented long before the kids build the foodroids. The Dad of one of the Kids build the Fourze System and Switches years before the show and later the two Kids Kengo and Yuki build the Foodroids to work with the switches.

Oh I know, I just vaguely remember reading something that suggested they had influence in those being put in the show. Or I'm completely making that up, I don't remember :lol

No I don't mean an in-story explanation, I mean real-life how did the designers think of food?

Because Bandai. These are the same guys who made their newest heroes wear giant mechanical fruit hats.

Thats as much of an answer as you can expect since the designers over at bandai of japan dont talk about this stuff as american toy designers do.

Nobody knows the reason why those robots are fast food as much as anyone knows why decade is pink/magenta.

Isn't that to do with photography/colours? Which is why Diend is cyan?

Yeah that one actually has some kind of explanation I just spaced out on that one :lol

Still my point in that stands. The Toy Designers very rarely explain why they designed the toy a specific way.

Because pink is fashionable, and I like the theory that Decade, DiEnd, and Kuuga's final form represented the four colours of a printer, Megenta, Cyan, Black/Yellow. You know, like cards.

Better example are the Final Form Rides. They never outright said what their intentions were when they designed those things.

They do but we dont have the reason why exactly Faiz transforms into Faiz blaster etc.

They could just as easily made them transform into their bikes

Anywhodowninwhoville: I would like to see actual weapons as the gimmick. Like whatever weapon the rider uses, changes the form, verses the weapon coming along for the ride.

What if there was a dinosaur rider, they'd do fossils.

Bird rider... batteries like Kyoryuger's.

Keys they can use the monster theme from Kiva again or a ninja rider.

Well they'll take pretty much any small, insignificant item & make it into something interesting for power. USBs, Coins, Switches, Rings (though that's a little bit easier to accept since they're wearable), Locks & now toy cars that shift like car handles. I've got absolutely no clue what they would do next. Maybe a writing utensil of some sort like a brush or pen?

Kamen Rider Painter?

Maybe. Something akin to the Shinkengers, with a dash of FMA would be cool. The show had a magic/art theme where they have to draw their circle in the air, the circle goes over them & that's the Henshin. They can change ink cartridges for various Form Changes.

If there was a main female rider to take over, what motif would you say would take it?

I don't think it matters. The gimmick is about the season's theme, not the gender of the main character.

Foils and sping tops would be kind cool.
I would love to see a show with a weapon like changer like. (drake, deind ect)

Would like for the next two series to have...

Series one: Spinning tops like Beyblades

Series two: Wheels like the beywheelz

So kinda like Meteor's Storm thingy? That'd be cool.

Wonder if they can use amulets for the next series. But I'd save them for being the next anniversary rider. Someone who's better than Decade.

In fact the amulets can be used for a treasure hunter-type of rider.

If there was a bird rider mixed with spy/spec ops, perhaps its theme can be used for items like batteries.

The way Kyoryuger used the zyudenchi.

Would the belt act like the Kabuto Zecter or the Double Drive when engaged with the extreme memory.

The batteries would can be based on birds. Even flying types.
