I would imagine it being gold plated is to have it match better with the SDC Legacy Morpher. Also, I know its to give it more to do, but am I the only one who's really sick and tired of "Go Go Power Rangers!"?

My buddy just dropped one off for me as he happened to find three while checking out a local TRU. It really is a very well done piece and I can't get over how massive it is compared to the original toy.
