Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Ep 46 "The Great Counterattack! The Greatest Final Brave!"

The true melody and I knew this how'd it be. And now we're coming to the end of the best Sentai season I've ever watched (Sorry Moune). Ian.. My God Ian was perfect in this episode. So angry, so absolutely focused. Using the Axe of Sorrow to deliver the final attack and then walking way like an absolute damn Boss.

I am going to be an emotional wreck when this series ends.

A really really great episode. I'm really glad to see that Dantetsu's plan was just that, and not him turning evil. I saw it coming, but loved the execution. Next week is also looking solid with our new rangers :D

The rest of the episode was very good, but mostly foreseeable.

Hey I'm new to the TokuNation forum but just wanted to say that, yes Kyoryuger is one of my favorite sentai series ever(along with Gokaiger, Goseiger, Jetman, Shinkenger, and yes even Go-Busters) mainly because of Amy and King. This episode made me cry inside as well and I cannot wait to see the final battle with Deboss. Forever Brave In!

Why did the Kyoryugers so readily let Daigo fight alone?
Seriously. "Because it was his father and he needed to do it himself" makes no sense at all. Torin meant something to all of them. Why would they just shrug and let Daigo go alone?

Anyway, Ian showing what an actual character arc looks like. Was nice to see that this show knew how those work.

I liked that Torin was killing enemies in Hell, but Mad Torin's 10 second appearance seemed kind of pointless, and I liked Souji actually using the Feather Edge while Torin is still stuck with the generic sword they all have.

In general, this episode would've been "Good" if it featured more of Ian and the others, but it's just average because [I'd say something more but everyone would start bitching and whining over it].

Maybe that was because they trust him. Ever since the team was formed, he brought out the best in them as shown in Daigo's moment with Amy(that was like the cutest moment ever). And thus, they showed little hesitation for Daigo to face his Dad alone.

Dantetsu defeated all of them alone. Yes, they were undergoing the shock of losing Torin, but he cleanly defeated them. Assuming that the Kyoryugers didn't know Dantetsu was playing on their side all along and he truly turned, why did they think that one of them would magically manage to win?

Oh yeah. Because Daigo doesn't have to work to get stronger. He just wills himself stronger. My bad.

That actually makes a lot of sense! Well I really don't know how to add to that so I guess stay tuned for Brave 47 then...

I still don't see the point in bringing that back- the last time they mentioned the Daigo/Amy thing was when Yayoi first appeared. And it was weird even then, because it was never mentioned before.

Do they have a crazy shipper in the staff that throws that in when he gets his hands on writing?

Seriously, the attitude is unnecessary. No ones "bitching and whining". People genuinely like the character. You don't have to agree with them, but you should respect their opinions.

By not classifying there opinions as bitching simply because they are counter to yours? Do you not see how stating your opinion in such a rude way detracts from the discussion and disrespects other opinions being expressed?

I could care less if you do or don't like the character. It has nothing to do with that. When you immediately dimiss peoples counters to what you have to say as bitching and whining, you get no sympathy from me. It is not necessary to be so hateful.

You seem to misunderstand. The "Bitching and whining" point was in reference to being told that my opinion was pointless and repetitive. Literally.
I'm not dismissing counter opinions, I was poking fun at the bitching over how me voicing disdain for Daigo is something that I shouldn't do anymore.

I'm not classifying their opinions as bitching, I'm classifying their judgment of my opinion as irrelevant.

Such a great Episode. The Fight Daigo VS Dantetsu was really cool and I liked that he didnt use Carnival to fight his Dad.

The best thing about the Episode was by far the Aigaron/Ian scenes. Cryied my eyes out when Aigaron died...loved that little tin man.

Cant wait for next week :D

The Scene made it clear enough that they all were against Daigo going out and fighting his dad alone. Utchy even took all of his Jyudenchis so he couldnt transform.
They decided to go with his plan because they trust in Daigo the same way Daigo trusts in them. He told them that he listened to the Earths melody and he knew something didnt add up so he had to go out there and confront his Dad.
We later see that Daigos plan was to resonate with his Dads melody so he could find out if he really is evil or not.

Of course the other Kyoryuger didnt know about his plan but they still let him go because they believed in him.

If you dont like it thats fair but it all made sense regarding the internal logic of the show.

Not that I'm just trying to disagree with any negativity, but it really seems like you're just looking for things to complain about.

This wasn't the reason given in the episode, in fact all of the characters tried to stop him (especially Utchy). Even after he explained about the melody and his belief that his father must be doing it for a reason, the rest of the characters couldn't accept that after what he did to Torin. They just trusted King enough to do his own thing.

I can totally understand why some people would be sick of the amount of praise Kyoryuger is getting from most.. but in my opinion, it's totally justified. It's easily been the best series in years and episodes like this are a perfect example of why. I love how sad they were able to make the death of a villain so dramatic. And not the typical confused anti-hero or bad guy turned good guy either. One who has been pretty evil up until this point.

The best thing about this whole scene is that Aigaron dindt want help from the Kyoryoger for his own sake but to keep Luckyuro and Candelira safe.
Aigaron knew what he did in the past was wrong and that he deserved to die but Lucky and Candy never did anything wrong and had the right to live their lifes.

The episode was okay, not the best, but not the worst. I sorta feel that Torin doing that rebellion thing is a little dumb. Like that's probably why sentai views have gone down I recent years, since it's so predictable.

I shed tears for the Tin Man, and that makes sense somehow. but that scene gaveus the absolute best moment with Ian all season. Using Aigoron's Axe to finish off the new Soldier of Sorrow and then slow walk away like a Boss.

Ian feeling bad for him not because he cared about Aigaron but because he knew that Aigarons feelings towards Candelira were genuine and then granting him the right to die in peace.

Oh, I know. I just can't get over how spectacular he was. So angry, so focused, so badass.

And the way they used Ians theme song after he finished off Icerondo...goosebumps all the way through.

I also have to mention how good this episode looked especially the action scenes. Sakamoto really outdid himself with this one. The way the camera moved when Souji used his Trinty Stryzer...pure gold.

God forbid someone asks a fucking question. Yep, clearly asking questions concerning what you just watched is just looking for things to complain about. They'd never be confused over why the characters would be willing to send their leader to their possible death, nope. If they ever ask a question, it's because they're bitching over the series. There's no other way. I mean, it's not like it's possible someone just wants to know why the characters did something.

I'm complaining because my question had no bearing on my opinion or thoughts on the show, yet both of you wave around flags of "Just because you don't like the show" and etc.

All I wanted to know was why the rangers let Daigo go. It did not make sense to me in the context of the episode.
I guess that asking a simple question is me talking about my opinion.
