So beautiful! I want one so bad, I might just put in an order with HLJ and see what happens, especially as HLJ allowed me to secure a base Zangetsu and not for like 100 dollars or whatever people are paying now.

Also, as an aside, did anyone else read 'Melon Energy' like 'MelON enerCHeEeEe!' like the voice in the show?

Pre-orders haven't even gone up yet for Kurokage & Tuliphopper. Gridon just came out this week though.

The weird plastic shift between the pearlescent upper thighs and lower legs is a bit jarring, isn't it? I prefer the original melon arms to melon energy, honestly. Still, it's neat enough. I do think I pre-ordered one of these from somewhere.

And by "came out" you mean back-ordered everywhere right?


As for Shin Zangetsu.....He will be mine. Eventually.

I scored one off Amazon JP but they're all sold out now. I did see two on Mandarake this morning that I ordered as back ups for anyone who couldn't get it. We'll see how that pans out though. I won't have the confirm/cancel e-mail til tomorrow.

Still seems weird to me. The first we ever saw of Kurokage was a magazine preview scan of his AC figure & its still not ready for release.

Such a badass figure, but I never noticed the black on the under suit. Now we need the rest of the energy riders. Really hope there is enough stock for everyone to get one.

These AC figures make me want them just a bit more than their figuarts.

Nope. I'm not a fan, either.

He is a bit of a clusterfuck, and I kinda wish Base Zangetsu actually well...got used before the upgrade but I just love how powerful Shin is, and how cool visually his fighting style is, that I can largely appreciate the design. Although that probably doesn't make it worth me buying a toy of him, even if I actually like it a lot more than his base, which I thought was kinda bland in a sea of interesting designs.
