Clarification
 

I need some about the original seasons of MMPR. So tell me if I get some of this wrong.

Rita was the main villian in Zyuranger
Zedd was the main villian in Dairanger
The Dinozords were from Zyu
The Thunderzords were from Dai

Ninjor and the Ninjazords were from .. Kakuranger?

And if they were: Then on what series did the Shogan Zords come from? And who was the main baddy of Kakuranger and whatever the Shogun come from?

Was it Master Vile?

Zedd had nothing to do with Dairanger. He's totally original! O: Shogun Zords were from Kakuranger just like Ninjor and the Ninja Zords. Don't know who the big boss from Kakuranger was though.

Then who the heck was the badguy in Dairanger xD

And how the heck did we come up with something as awesome as Lord Zedd?!

The Big Bad from Kakuranger was Daimou, who was Master Vile in Power Rangers.

Ah, alright then. That explains where he comes from.

I believe Rito Repulso was the villain of Kakuranger (Don't ask me on his Japanese name though).

And the Shogun Zords were also from Kakuranger (I guess Kaku started the trend of alternate mecha for the main cast lol).

Big boss baddie in Kakuranger became Master Vile. His main henchman became Rito.

Both the Ninjazords and Shogunzords come from Kakuranger (along with the Falconzord and the Battle Borgs from Alien Rangers). In Kakuranger, the Shogunzords come first and are replaced by the Ninjazords, the reverse of how it happens in MMPR. Also, there is no Pink -- the White Shogunzord and the Crane Ninjazord are piloted by the white Ranger, who is female (White Alien Ranger in the US). Falconzord is sentient and pilots itself.

Mondo The Magician from season 2 of PR was the main Dairanger baddie's metallic, "monstrous" form.

It clears things up alot. But now I think Kakuranger sounds seriously Overpowered, like Dino Thunder Red Ranger Overpowered. Shoguns, Ninjas, and the Borgs. They can only pilot one at a time!

Though I do seriously like the idea of Falcon being Sentient. And also answers why Falcon could combine with Ninja and Shogun.. Which brings up another question.

Could Titanus form up with Shogun and Ninjazords in Kakuranger, or was that purely an American creation like Zedd?

That was all American-made, using the US toy molds.

Which is why Shogun Ultrazord's left arm magically switched from white to pink.

I guess the Super Kakure Daishogun(or Ninja MegaFalconZord)sorta counts.

I saw what you guys meant. I was watching Master Vile and he Metallic Armor last night. And when he stole their Zord's energy he, somehow, gained the masks of the Alien Rangers (Kakuranger). Someone missed that xD

Well then we came up with alot of good original ideas for villians. Lord Zedd being the absolute best of them, and as much as OO sucked.. I did enjoy those two. They were about all.

Scorpius' henchman Treacheron was adapted from Gingaman. Furio is the monster form of Dr. Hienlar, the main baddie of Megaranger. Captain Mutiny was Captain Zahab, main baddie of Gingaman; his henchmen Barbarax, Hexuba, Kegler, Villamax, and Deviot were all adapted.


Alright, even though the "main" grunts were all originals (including the Stingwingers and the Quantrons from In Space), the original super sentai grunts actually do show up in each series.

In Turbo, General Havoc's Chromites are the Wumpers from Carranger.

For In Space, the Craterites from the Rangers training exercise as well as the "King Craterite" were the Kunekune from Megaranger.

And in Lost Galaxy, Captain Mutiny's Swabbies were the Yartots from Gingaman.

Guys, it's Rito REVOLTO, not Rito Repulsa.

Yea. Was that owl in the original?

Yes; only difference in portrayal really was the voice actor.

Timerangers' was a much older man, playing up the "wise old owl" stereotype.

So they get Owl from Winnie the Pooh, and we get a little mechanical Ninjor.

Gluto or whatever (the fat fish guy) was Don Dondororo or whatever, the main Timeforce baddie as well.

Not sure who you mean by Ryuuta, but Don Dolnero (I got the name messed up) is the leader of the Londarz Crime Family in Timeranger,

I was watching In Space last night, and yes, another question popped in my head.

The Psycho Rangers. Or "The Best Idea Ever". Were they in Megaranger, or were they an American creation like Zedd?

I believe the psychos were adapted. Which makes sense considering how they were created and the nature of megarangers storyline-as In being VR and computer based. Correct me if I'm wrong

I'm not 100% sure, but as they only appeared in Megaranger vs Carranger I'd imagine not since I doubt any of that footage is in In Space.

I don't think there was a VS that year. The first one they did was Lost Galaxy, when the Psycho's came back and Pink killed Kendrix.

Exactly, the only Carranger suit appearance was the Turbo blue team up. So unless Saban did some heavy editing back then I can imagine the footage got discarded altogether.

One of the downsides of keeping the same core people year after year. Makes doing the big team-up episodes hard to do. Like Forever Red, for example. Also means you lose alot of good footage.

Also to are to this thread, I'd like to ask which battleizers appe!red in sentai and which were American only if any?

SPD's Battlizer aka Sonic Mode, was used in Dekaranger by DekaRed by using the Fire Squad License

Closest thing to an original "Battlizer" in Super Sentai was GokaiSilver's Gold Mode
